We chose Butterfly Wedding films after meeting lots of different companies at a wedding fair and we felt the most comfortable with Ryan and really liked the images and what they had shown us on that day. We liked that it was a family business and seemed very well put together. We were actually in two minds wether or not to get a wedding film done but as soon as we saw Ryan's work we knew we wanted that to be captured on our special day. From day one the communication was excellent and very clear. On the wedding day Ryan arrived early and worked really well alongside our photographer and everyone else. He was extremely discreet as I actually didn't notice him a lot throughout the day, however when our wedding film arrived which was presented beautifully with popcorn and everything which was lovely I could not believe how much of our day that had been caught. Things that you could never catch in a photo or just small details you may easily forget. The DVD was put together beautifully and we are so happy we chose Butterfly wedding films and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to capture their wedding day perfectly. More...

Ryan filmed our wedding at Harburn House in 2012. I've known Ryan since high school and there was no-one else I'd have chosen to be our videographer. We now have a very high quality video capturing our special day. Dear Ryan and Jen, Since the first moment we met you to enquire about a wedding video we knew we were going to get something special. You immediately put us at ease and you clearly knew your craft; both of these elements made us very excited. You have made every step along the way enjoyable. What a pleasure it has been knowing that the people behind the cameras were two of the loveliest people we have met. You turned something we were initially quite nervous about into an incredible journey we have both thoroughly enjoyed. You have both been so approachable, friendly and efficient at every step and I think this was conveyed by how relaxed we became in front of the camera – something that would not have otherwise have come naturally to us. The filming on the day itself was simply wonderful; unobtrusive yet you managed to capture all the key moments and also so many moments we missed. How lovely it has been to have this extra dimension added to our amazing memories of the day. Along with these moments, you have somehow captured the atmosphere and essence of the day which we put down to your careful planning, your thoughtful and meticulous attention to detail throughout the wedding itself and your craftsmanship of the final edit.
