Loved getting my hair and makeup done at Burlesque! Brittany did an absolutely fabulous job with my bridal hair style and it stayed in all day - even when I was dancing like a loon on the dance floor 12+ hours after I'd had it done. Kelsey did a beautiful job too with my maid of honour's hair and Chloe's makeup artistry was perfect. A lovely salon, felt like a real special start to the day. Couldn't recommend them more! More...

Amazing service, everyone is so friendly. Lovely relaxing atmosphere. Had a pixie cut put in for me loved everything about it.

Now I'm no stranger to colour and luckily for me my best mate did my hair for best part of 10 years with no issues but since she buggered off to n. z what's a girl to do! After going to some highly overpriced, have all the gear but no idea salons, I thought i would be brave one more time and try Hayley. I swear tho if i had one more orange blonde or over use of toner I would have lost the plot. But Hayley to the rescue!! Sorted my previous orange blocky mess of a hair do into a lush colour! I can't thank u enough! U have restored my faith in hairdressers! So dramatic I know but after one too many disasters I was nervous. But NO need here. Lush salon, lush staff and lush hair!! Seems a very nice friendly place. They did a great job on my adult daughter and four year old granddaughter and managed the trim on the one year old grandson with aplomb. Burlesque have been in Newport for years and it's a testament to how good they are that they have been around for so long. The staff are all friendly and very professional and their customer service is amazing. They use quality products and have fantastic hair stylists and while they make recommendations for products to use they're not pushy at all which is always appreciated. I also appreciate the fact that they will tell you no when it comes to your hair. They will tell you when something is bad for your hair and give you a way to get what you want over time if it's a drastic change rather than ruining your hair just to please you in the short term. They are award winning and it's clear that they take pride in training their staff to a high level and it shows in your hair when you leave. In my humble opinion it's the best salon in Wales. Oh - and they're punctual with appointments which is a huge plus. They also have wifi so you're not stuck reading magazines if you don't want to! More...

I have been coming to Burlesque for about 18yrs when Stuart & Dave had their 1st shop in the newport indoor market (can't remember what it was called) and I attended the opening night of the Newport shop. I have been there several times to have my hair done, then I went to USk for awhile as I was working there, but for the last 4 yrs or so I have been coming to Caerleon. Abby and Hayley normally do my hair, Harley sometimes says no to me when I want to go wild, but it is all in good fun,. I do miss her at the moment but hopefully she will be back. Everyone in the salon are professional and I feel safe with them. I live in Gloucestershire but that doesn't stop me, as I know when I get to the salon EVERYONE looks after me and makes me feel welcome. Please don't stop. More...
