I would reccomend to have your wedding here. We had our evening reception here after getting married abroad, again like some people said some management issues and lots of changing of staff but in the end our request were always dealt with. Room was beautiful and so was the buffet food that was 10/10, so many compliments on the night. Although for anyone planning to use the hotel reccomended wedding suppliers " the wedding collection " find another supplier . They made us sets of balloons I didn't ask for and there was no proof of confirmation for this, 1 hour before party basically said oh well we have done them so can you pay soon as. When I explained I didn't want them they made us feel like we were in the wrong as they didn't want to want them away after making them all. They them threatened to call a debt recovery agency to get the money. All on our wedding night. Disgusting behaviour. Adding stress and uoset. My advice find someone else More...

We got married here almost 2 months ago, from the minute we met Helen, we knew brook Hall was the place for us. I visited yesterday as a photographer for a wedding taking place here. The staff were fantastic, every single one of them was happy, polite, helpful and thorough with their job. The food was absolutely AMAZING!!! Hats off to the chef because it truly was one of the nicest meals I've eaten in a long time, I'd highly recommend people popped in to take advantage of the yummy food!!!!. If you're looking for somewhere to hold your wedding or other celebrations definitely go along to Brook Meadow. Lovely establishment, beautiful gardens and even thoughtful little baskets in the toilets with a selection of everything you could need for your time there. Booked afternoon tea as we had a voucher. We were the only ones in at the time, although they did have a wedding on later in the day. The afternoon tea was so delicious and they kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish so we could take it home. Tea was plenty and more was offered once our pot was empty. We booked this venue for our Wedding in June 2017 and it was absolutely wonderful. Helen and the staff ensured that everything ran smoothly, the main room looked amazing and catered for our 180+ guests with space to spare. The patio area to the rear was perfect for the hog roast we had organised, their venue has its own stage and lighting system which is where our band set-up and provided great entertainment for the night. Our older relatives could escape to the quieter section of the hotel near reception where there is lounge area with log burner and small bar, they were also able to watch all the photos being taken from the conservatory without having to navigate down the steps leading to the lawns. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, me and my wife had the best day and night, Helen was great and even managed to secure exclusivity and rented us all the hotel rooms for ourselves and our guests. 5* More...

I have to relate the circumstances surrounding my parents' visit to this hotel across the weekend of 13th/14th January 2019. Upon arriving at the hotel, my father had an accident on his mobility scooter as he drove it up the ramp into the hotel lounge. It was entirely my dad's fault, as he had failed to reduce the speed setting on the scooter and lifted the front wheels as he mounted the ramp, causing the scooter to topple on top of him. We have confirmed in writing that this was in no way attributable to the hotel infrastructure and I want to reiterate that here. The hotel staff responded immediately. Rebecca called the ambulance and spent time both liasing with 999 call handlers and reassuring my dad, whilst also finding blankets, duvets and an umbrella to make him as comfortable as possible. Hazel spent an hour on her knees, in the dark and pouring rain, reassuring Dad and covering him with the umbrella to keep him as dry and warm as she could whilst waiting for the ambulance. I have been moved to tears by the kindness, compassion and support shown by these ladies to my parents and cannot thank them highly enough. Credit also has to go to Gary, the chef at the hotel and sister restaurant, who also showed an incredible level of support in coming back to the hotel after his shift to ensure that my mum was able to get back to her room after leaving Dad in the hospital. Again, I offer my wholehearted thanks to him. I truly will be eternally grateful to all of the staff at the hotel for everything they have done, and am utterly convinced that without their prompt actions my Dad would not be making the recovery that he is. After a whirlwind couple of days, I’d just like to say a massive thank to Brook meadow. Our wedding was the most amazing day. Aimee, hazel thank you for looking after us in our special day. Aimee you’ve been an utter star from start to finish, I was so happy I had you to pester! I’d of struggled without you. Thank you Mike your such an asset to the hotel, thank you for looking after me and my family the night before until the very end. All my guests said how brilliant the staff were, they said the rooms were lovely, the wedding breakfast and breakfast the morning after was tasty. Had my wedding here on 25th May and it was amazing from start to finish. The food was gorgeous and the grounds were amazing. Not going to lie and say it's been an easy planning process but it's been much better since Steph came on board. The staff where lovely and nothing as too much. They could do with improving the check in process as it was very chaotic and guests ended up in the wrong rooms so my dad had to step in and organise where people where going. Breakfast could be better as well. We were only given one of everything on the cooked breakfast which isn't enough. One of my guests overheard Helen tell the server to make sure everyone only got one of each. It just put a downer on the wedding to have a mediocre breakfast. We got married here on Saturday and it was the best day ever �. From the moment we arrived at the venue, every member of staff couldn’t have been nicer, from the cleaners to Steph (the wedding coordinator) , girls on reception, Hazel who couldn’t have done any more for us . The chief was amazing too. There are to many to name so I just want to thank all of the staff . Nothing was to big and everything flowed perfectly. The hotel is gorgeous, and the grounds are unreal. You could literally be anywhere in the world on a sunny day. I knew it was special when I said to my new wife “ this doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like we are staying with family”, and that sums it up really . We didn’t want to leave . Wow thank you so much to Helen , Steph , Hazel , Debbie , John & all the staff. We got married at Brook Meadow Sat 21st April 2018 , we had the best day of our life's, our whole wedding day from start to finish was just amazing , the staff are just brilliant so helpful nothing was to much trouble , even the weather was beautiful we got lots of beautiful pictures in the grounds , we will share our pictures when we get them off Holly ireland our photographer, Paul Hepinstall played the piano during our wedding service & wedding breakfast , he also played the sax outside during our drinks and photo's just perfect, the wedding collection in hoylake is just wonderful they really set the rooms up beautiful all our guests commented on how lovely everything looked, well done to the chief , our wedding breakfast was just perfect the meals were all hot , nicely presented and tasted gorgoes , Amelia Jane flowers New ferry made all our beautiful flowers and js weddings done our disco James was brilliant. To finish off our weekend the staff set the chapel room up for our breakfast the next morning for us & all our guests it was beautiful we all had a lovely relaxing breakfast together. Then me & Chris had a beautiful meal at sheldrakes in Heswall which was gorgeous before we set off for our honeymoon. Awesome..1st visit with my wife & its her birthday new years eve.. Excellent choice of food & drinks & the breakfast was delicious a nice selection. . Accommodations perfect & the scenery is beautiful & I'd love to see it in the summer months.. Highly trained staff & very pleasant can't fault at all..100% will be coming again.
