What do you love most about your job?
The main satisfaction I gain form my job is seeing people's dreams become a reality. From the tiny spark of an idea, to appearing on the shelf or website for sale.
I pride myself on efficiency in design, manufacture and assembly - helping the client make a product that is as profitable as possible.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After 20 years working in a variety of industries, as a mechanical engineer, product designer and project manager, I have gained vast amounts of experience which I can apply - regardless of your requirements.
I especially enjoy the hands-on element, and keeping in regular contact with the client to ensure the brief is met. This eventually translates into the product being right for the customer - success!

I have a broad range of knowledge in product design and mechanical engineering. This saves the client time and money during the development process. Fewer iterations and therefore time spent means a more affordable development journey.

CAD Design
3D CAD design using Solidworks 2020, and 2D drawings as required. Fully qualified Certified Solidworks Professional. 20+ years experience.
Concept Development
Translating the client's brief into visuals which can then be assessed and developed into prototype parts.
3D Printing and Prototyping
I can offer the above using a range of materials which are commonplace in product design, whether metallic or plastic.
Technical Writing and Instructions
Using the Adobe Suite (Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop), combined with Solidworks, I can generate professional and styling manuals, user instructions and labels - always in keeping with your brand.
Project Management
If your requirements are more broad than simply designing a product, I will happily assist you with the management of the product's development... This may include timing plans, costs, resources, from everything from concept - through development and testing - to material selection, industrialisation, sourcing and launch.
Prince 2 Practitioner with 15+ years' experience of managing complex, global projects in a variety of industries.
