Branch surveys were so helpful when I spoke to them about my ceiling that looked suspicious to me for potentially containing asbestos. Harry was very professional and suggested that we have samples taken from the ceiling area to check for any asbestos fibres that may be present to the ceiling. Harry From Branch Surveys Limited carried out a Asbestos Sample for us in our Upstairs airing cupboard, We were worried about a panel to the back of our cupboard and were recommended to get it checked by a Asbestos Surveying company. What inspired you to start your own business?
My dad had a demolition company which I originally worked at, I always found that asbestos became a problem to his clients if they had not identified early what asbestos they had on site.
This made me want to carry out the asbestos surveying works myself so that future clients would not have this issue.

Asbestos Sampling & Assessments
Taking a small sample of a material / product to check if it contains asbestos fibres.
Such as - Floor tiles, Cement Corrugated sheeting, Textured coating ceiling, Cement Flue pipes, Roof Tiles, Soffits etc
Results are usually back with yourself within 24hrs
Asbestos Management Surveys
An asbestos management survey is predominantly used for managing your asbestos within your property or premises.
It is carried out to all communal areas within the property or premises and during the survey, the surveyor will take samples of any suspect materials that may contain asbestos.
These will be tested and noted within the survey using photos and plan drawing.
The duty holder of the property or premises can then use the document provided to manage the asbestos within the building.
Asbestos Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys
An Asbestos Refurbishment & Demolition Survey is required by law prior to any refurbishment, building or demolition works are carried out to a property or project.
It is used to locate all potential asbestos within a property or premises so that workers / tradesmen / owners do not contaminate themselves or others whilst carrying out these works.
The surveyor will systematically work their way through the building taking samples & accessing all locations as far as reasonably practicable to locate asbestos containing materials.
Once the survey is completed the document can be used for reference towards asbestos removal etc.
