Deep Cleaning Services
The entire booking system was excellent as were the conversations I had with Border Cleaning Fairies director; he was competent and very helpful especially regarding all the C-19 cleaning procedures.
The 2 female cleaners were friendly and efficient. My only objection was that I had to tell them to put on masks and gloves as having possibly, cleaned in different properties already that day, they might have been contaminated.
A very good job of work was completed by one of the girls; the other had to leave before finishing.

Hi Alison, Thanks for your feedback. Appreciate the kind words also. Apologies regarding PPE issue you raise here. For some reassurance, you were the first client of the day at 9.30am. However I do understand your concern. Regarding the cleaner leaving before completion; you cleaning date was the busiest day we've had this year and once we knew the clean was easily completed with one cleaner, I requested the second cleaner to move on to the next job as we knew we could complete yours well within the changeover times, and at the low end of our estimate for yourself. Apologies if this caused any issues, I hope it did not. I hope you can understand the time restraint we were up against while being a cleaner down on such a busy day. How long have you been in business?
Clair started as a self employed cleaner in 2017. Pete has been involved in business since he was 6 years old with 2 local family businesses. We joined forces in 2020 to grow Border Cleaning Fairies and have never looked back!

Yes. However, if you have specific requirements or wish to provide your own supplies/equipment, just let us know and we will accommodate where appropriate.
What do you love most about your job?
Making a huge impact on the lives of busy families by taking the stress of cleaning off their hands. We love bringing value to people. We've created a blog that shares cleaning tips and decluttering advice among other things as we hated it when we couldn't help people out and so running this blog as part of the business allows us to always point people to that if we are unable to help them ourselves. What inspired you to start your own business?
To be able to work around family life. Family is so important to us and being able to work around a busy home is brilliant. With our small team of cleaners alongside ourselves, we are now able to get weekends with our 2 girls while still being able to provide an amazing standard of cleaning through this.

Oddly enough we can't clean your home remotely, as lovely as that would be! However, we do have a blog that may be able to help you out. What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We are using a product called Selgiene Extreme. This is a covid disinfectant that removes any contamination instantly on application unlike most products that need to sit and 'soak'. We also wear PPE in the form of masks, gloves and aprons. We will always adhere to any regulations regarding distancing and currently, and for the foreseeable, will be asking clients to not be in the same room while we clean to keep both you and us safe.
