We discovered this little gem whilst cycling to Portreath. Delicious, freshly prepared lunches and cakes, all very reasonably priced and the staff were so accommodating in the inclement weather! Highly recommended!

Just got home from my husband's birthday afternoon tea in the sunshine. Couldn't have asked for a better spread, even get your own choice of sandwiches and as for the cakes. .... and a lovely soft, fresh scone with loads of jam and cream. I popped into Bon Appetit today for the first time, and I tried their vegan Spanish chickpea and spinach stew....oh my good grief. It was literally perfect in every way! The vegetables in it were cooked to perfection - not too hard and not too soft - giving it plenty of texture. Even the spinach still has some bite to it. The entire thing was delicious, beautifully smokey in a really balanced way. I had it with their vegan bruschetta, which was just as delicious. Apparently they're creating a Bon' Appetit Heat and Eat' takeaway range with vegan foods in that too - I'll be back with bells on. Can't fault the food or the owner - such a lovely friendly lady and very hospitable, and she had Alpro soy milk for my lovely latte. The surrounding are stunningly beautiful, right out in the country, so excellent for cyclists, ramblers and dog walkers, and for people like me who like good honest tasty fresh food with a conscience. Susie and her team (Sharon, Molly and Lewis) prepared and served food for 90 guests at a party at our house and they were simply amazing. We spoke with Susie about our plans at quite short notice and she pulled everything together with skill and style. We are so grateful to them for their enthusiasm, flexibility, initiative, care and attention to detail. The salads were all delicious and the food was presented beautifully. We have had so many compliments for the food from our guests and it was such a huge treat for me to be able to leave Susie and her team to it with complete confidence so that I could really enjoy our party. They were friendly and polite throughout, stayed longer than planned when needed and left the kitchen clean and tidy at the end. We hired Suzi and her team for our marquee wedding buffet. I think the right food at a wedding is key and I really wanted a posh buffet so . ....... Enter Bon Appètit !! I had seen reviews on Facebook and saw that Suzi had done a few weddings previously. I have to admit, I was so anxious when I first made the call but I needant have been !! Welcoming, friendly, knowledgable, full of ideas .... the list goes on with what Suzi can offer to you as a bride. She took all the worries and the pressure of sorting it off me for sure !! GODSEND !! Suzi went through the whole wedding menu with me and was able to personalise food to exactly how we wanted and I when I got the quote, I was astounded with what she could offer for the price she could. It didn't stop there though - as we had a marquee wedding, we didn't have any staff to hand out canopès and champagne on arrival, or serve to the guests .... "no problem" Suzi said, "leave that with me!" Well ....... she certainly didn't disappoint !! Immaculately dressed and well mannered staff were there for all of our guests to cater for every whim.
