David Scott came to my house to cater for the family friday night and shabbat lunch. He made everything in less than 6 hours with another chef and brought fabulous ingredients. His food was delicious and price wise very reasonable. He could t be there during the meals as I booked him very late but sent a waitress to reheat and plate the food. 5 stars! David and his team did an amazing job at our wedding. My partner and I wanted a fully vegetarian menu. David was the only caterer I found out of 30 I tried that had a flavour-full, delicious and nuanced menu. He and his team has a eye for flavours and will specialise the menu depending on what you want for the day. Blue Goose was also the most flexible of all caterers I tried. They were willing to work on us with everything, which was incredibly appreciated because our wedding was very personalised. On the day, everything went on without a hitch. I didn't have to worry about a thing. Everyone loved the food which was huge because 99% of people were not vegetarians. They thought the vegetarian sausages were so good, they actually thought they were meat! As for the rest of the meal, everyone was able to have their fill of a diverse range of canapés, entrees, desserts, and alcohol. Thank you David and your team for making our amazing day stress free and going above and beyond. I think a lot of people are going to try vegetarian food now more often! Just for everyone else to know David also provides a meat friendly menu that I'm sure is great as well. My husband and I highly recommend David and his team for parties large and small. David Scott and his team at Blue Goose Catering recently catered my daughter's Bat Mitzvah lunch which was held at my parents house. From start to finish David has been extremely helpful, understanding, patient and above all willing to listen. Although we were paying he ensured that my daughter was heard as it was her day. On the day David and his team turned up early, set up with no fuss or bother and proceeded to ensure that our lunch was effortless but 100% tasty. Everyone commented on the delicious food, the presentation of the food and how helpful and delightful his staff were. When they left, my parents kitchen was left how it was found. Anyone who gets to enjoy David Scott's food is very lucky indeed. Asking him to cater our son's barmitzvah was the best decision we could possibly have made - not only is David absolutely charming and so professional to deal with but his food is exceptional. So many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was and so beautifully presented which added a real touch of magic to our party. David is not only an incredibly talented Chef, but so delightful to work with. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone to arrange my dinner party, I instinctively knew that I had found the right caterer. He is warm, engaging, super talented and nothing is a problem. We used David Scott to cater our daughter's Batmitzvah for about 140 guests. From when we first met David, it's been an absolute pleasure dealing with him. He has a very polite and helpful manner and was happy to answer any questions or concerns we had. David made the whole process very easy and straight forward and the food on the night was plentiful and delicious. All our guests were commenting on how good it was. Blue Goose catered our New Year's Eve dinner and the food was wondeful. This was the second year that David Scott has catered our NYE celebrations and it has now become a feature in the calendar. We are not the easiest of people to cater for - a mixture of fussy vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters and it could not have been easier to agree an interesting and exciting menu to cater for all. The food was all brilliant but I do have to mention the duck dish which was historic. Also, how does he get those non dairy desserts to taste so good. His attention to detail and manner of doing things in exactly the way one wants them to be done is admirable. We used David Scott to cater a summer garden party for about 85 friends. From the first contact David was professional and very easy to deal with. He had great ideas about the food-we went for canapes followed by bowl food and desserts- and its presentation. On the night we were impressed by David's very friendly and helpful team. We should have but did not take photos but it all looked good and more importantly all the food tasted good. There was also a huge quantity of it. David came on time with a mixture of pre-prepped and to be prepped food. He assured us that he would not run out as his staff kept a close eye on what was popular so that they could make more if need be. Our friends all told us afterwards how much they enjoyed the food and some of them contacted David to discuss their own events. At least one has used David since with great success. If you are looking for a young, cool and very talented chef to cater your event no matter the size, David Scott from Blue Goose catering Ltd is your guy! I hosted a garden BBQ party for 40 people for my 30th in July - and despite the weather (marquee solved that problem!) David and his team contributed immensely to a hugely successful evening. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the food but guests were raving about it all: falafel boats, tuna tartare on a crostini, and seabass ceviche for starters followed by tandoori chicken drumsticks, honey and thyme marinated chicken, maple glazed beef sausages, slow cooked beef brisket with hasselback potatoes, saffron rice and soooo many different types of salads ! Desserts were also excellent with Apple crumbles, mini fruit salads and chocolate tarts. David is highly professional and catered for our kosher needs, and remained calm when it looked like the BBQ we hired was not going to work, the waiters were so friendly and my kitchen was left spotless!
