What do you love most about your job?
I love helping people. Customers are often stressed or upset when I arrive, while they are normally happy and relaxed when I am finished. It is always difficult to employ someone you have never met to do something for you – I find that myself. I will always treat people as I would want to be treated. There is a great sense of satisfaction when you see a customer is genuinely happy with the work you have done.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Previously I had worked for a small business in Watford. In the late 1990’s computers started appearing on desks and while I wasn’t qualified, at the time, I had an active interest. I was then se the task of getting the computers networked and installed, setting up the email and website, etc. I didn’t do it but I employed people to do it and had to oversee it. I took several part-time courses at that time but eventually decided to take a year out and learn full time. The rest is history.

I will always be honest and ethical, and example is that I often ask “Is this really worth paying me to fix?”. I try not to blind people with science and over complicate things. I have many customers that have used me for a number of years which I believe is a testament to the work I do.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I am up to date with all my vaccinations and will ware a mask if in close proximity, or in confined spaces with others.

Work together while apart. If your desktop is in the Cloud you can access it from any where with an internet connection. Everyone can work on the same files as if they were in the same office.
