Really lovely building. The interior is very nicely decorated with a nod to the buildings history. The staff without exception were incredibly helpful and friendly from start to finish. Our waiter for dinner was exceptional. Particularly how much of a gentleman he was in the face of a group of arrogant entitled codgers, at least one of whom appeared to feel staff were put on earth to meet his needs. Making his requirements known by poking the waiters arm and making one word ‘requests’. And generally all pretend wealth and no class! The waiter responded courteously and with admirable professionalism! More than the pig deserved. The food was faultless both at dinner and breakfast. Everything tasted fresh and cooked with care. First time being in bishops Gate and what can I say.......just perfect. We were there for our wedding anniversary and were upgraded to the penthouse! wow! did not even want to leave it. The staff were super friendly and accomadating went above and beyond to make our stay special. dinner was included and the menu was so hard to choose from we went for dishes we havnt eaten before and every morsel was divine. We had the privilege of having our Wedding at Bishop Gate last weekend and what a day it was! We had the most amazing day from start to finish which was made possible by a dream team of staff. Every member of staff was exceptional from perfect food and drinks service to the kindest door staff. The food was divine and remarked upon by all our guests. A special thank you to Events Manager Clare whose meticulous attention to detail and thoughtfulness was second to none. Stayed last night 11/6/22. In apartment 3 with friends also in apartment 2. What can is say fantastic staff. What couldn’t do enough for us, even having fun and joking around with us. Amazing When and had dinner in the restaurant 8.30. As a group of girls we where late. But absolutely no bother to then. Food was out of this world. Beautiful isn’t good enough. Even though I was one of them difficult customers about her meal. The chef went above and beyond for me. Can’t recommend here enough. Stayed here night before my wedding in the junior suite. the staff couldn't done enough for us. we felt very welcome. myself and my husband stayed the night of our wedding we felt at ease and very welcomed. we had our celebration wedding dinner here at the London street private room. they created a welcome sign saying our names on it. they also included our names on the menu which this was a lovely touch. we found the other all experience lovely and reasonably priced. when ordering room service for a certain time they would come on time we have arranged. It was raining outside so got loads of photos around the hotel. it's has culture feel and vintage feel to it. it's a lovely setting. all our guest complemented the taste of the dinners. they where all so pleased with it all. the service was great. Great experience for family meal last night in the private dining room. We have a large family of adults with 5 energetic children, the staff service was excellent and so patient dealing with the large party. We had our wedding in the hotel at the weekend and the service was fantastic. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, all the staff were so helpful even from the lead up to the wedding until the day after.
