What do you love most about your job?
Definitely the variety and the job satisfaction! In this industry, no two jobs are the same. Whether it be editorials, photoshoots, video shoots, London Fashion Week, makeovers for reports in local newspapers and televison or bridal and bridal party makeup every client and venue is different. I love to meet new people and I love seeing the finished product and the joy that a good makeover and hairstyling can achieve.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been involved in the visual arts, with a degree in graphic designer and qualifications in both fashion design and as a beauty therapist. I have been practising makeup and hair as a hobbyist for many years whilst working in related sectors and at international postings from the UK through to the Middle East and Far East and Canada. Now back in the UK for the past 5 years I have taken further makeup qualifications and training both private and institutional. I am qualified in Theatrical and Media Makeup & Hair and taken additional training in special effects and prosthetics at Creative Media Skills at Pinewood Studios. The natural progression has been to turn this love of makeup, hair, fashion and beauty into a profession and start my own business.

Each client is different whether it be a fashion show organizer working under pressure, or a video shoot director trying to get the next shot, or the many brides that want to achieve the perfect look for their very special wedding day. I believe I have a strong combination of skillsets that help me succeed including industry and product knowledge, a wealth of experience, adaptability to any situation and a positive personality. These attributes all help me to meet and exceed the expectations of each client and each assignment
