Visited for a lunch time tea for two. (took the kids with us) have to say it was a very enjoyable experience. The Hotel was very nice and was greeted with a warm welcome. The staff were very attentive and Melanie was especially friendly. Also had a look round the hotel and very clean and new. The pictures on the website do not do it justice. Yesterday we celebrated my Mother's 80th birthday with an afternoon for 40. We had a wonderful time, the food was lovely and plentiful, the service from Luke and Julius was both friendly and efficient.

Lovely hotel newly renovated overlooking the sea. We had a relaxing time at the spa and dinner at the restaurant. The bartender was friendly and offered a cocktail of the signature. We will come again.

Went into hotel today for a meeting and to have some lunch, we decided to try the fish and chips and was not disappointed! ! Big chunky chips and super crispy battered fish was amazing, and staff could not have been more attentive! ||As we were leaving we walked through the official dining area where there were lots of people taking afternoon tea, which looked spectacular, will definitely be booking in for that on our next visit. ||Beautifully decorated with an elegant feel, polite courteous staff and fantastic food, couldn’t think of a better choice for an afternoon entertaining a business associate. ||Will be returning and know where I would’ve staying should I wish to overnight in Dover! Myself and 2 friends visited the hotel yesterday for lunch in the chophouse. It was a birthday meal and certainly didn’t disappoint. The table had been decorated and we were given a lovely seafront view. Carla and Emily were so attentive and nothing was too much trouble, including bringing out a cake with candles and singing to the birthday lady! I would like to say that my wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this hotel on Sunday 17th November. |My thanks go to all the bar and restaurant staff on duty that day and you are a great credit to the hotel as nothing was too much trouble to do ,not only that the staff were the most friendly and helpful and especially Megan on the front desk would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. We couldn't fault the staff involved with the running of my daughter's wedding reception. They did everything quickly, efficiently, discretely and with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble. Special thanks to Luke, Clemence and the reception team that weekend. The dining room was beautifully laid out for us, and the sound system, the food and the excellent service during the meals ensured a really top quality experience. Great location on the waterfront at Dover and close to Dover Castle & White Cliffs, both must see sights. The hotel room was clean and nicely set up with ample space. LOVELY PLEASANT STAYWe had travelled from North to Dover to celebrate my moms & sisters birthday & I can not fault any of the staff employed there. All went that extra mile to make it a Fab stay accommodating are every needs for a memorable weekend. Bar staff excellent customer service. From the warm ‘Welcome’ at reception all the way through to the helpful Bar and Restaurant Staff, the service I received was exceptional and some of that credit certainly goes to Suresh the General Manager! ||||The sea views from my room were stunning and the Hotel has Benefited from recent investment which has been tastefully done and very much in keeping with its Victorian character.||||There are two Marco Pierre White franchises on offer, I opted for the restaurant which had an excellent choice and the benefit of having fresh produce sourced daily was evident in my fish main! Visited this place with my wife for a two nights stay a few months back all the way from Birmingham. Honestly, both of us loved it. The rooms were of great standards and exceeded our expectations. Meanwhile, the food served at the chophouse which is the main restaurant is of brilliant taste and variety. Also,the bar and lounge area was very tidy and it is a superb place for relaxing along with their delightful range of cocktails.Specially Cha and the team was really supportive as they assisted us and recommended the best picks. Craigs karaoke and disco were booked to provide the sound system for the very talented Ben Milberry soul singer at this venue for a recent wedding. From arrival to departure the staff were attentive and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed to make the evening a success. We also had the pleasure of chatting to the general manager after the event, he was keen to find out how we felt the evening had gone and to ensure that the staff had provided the high level of service he expected. 跟朋友来多佛尔看白崖，酒店就在海边，附近餐厅和酒店餐厅都还算多，基本上吃的就在这个附近，离白崖不是很远，但是如果天气不好的话建议就不要去了，白崖会提前关，而且白崖的步行路线不是特别好

Lovely old hotel, tastefully decorated and really nice helpful staff. ||||Only downsides were that, as we were the last people needing a family room to check in that day, we had the least space for the most children ( confirmed by the staff) and there were concerns the extra bed could not fit! We had booked this room in plenty of time and the booking notes of 2 adults, three children were read back out to us when we checked in! One of the pull out beds had safety caps missing on one side, two of our family ended up with badly bruised legs from not being able to get round it easily in the limited space. We had also had to pay a surcharge for this room. Room was lovely with fab views, just not big enough and clearly a booking oversight.||||Also concerned that the smoke alarm had been covered over ( by a previous guest )||||Staff did their best though and were very helpful and the hotel is lovely and in a great position. Was staying at this hotel for one night only. Had booked a twin room through Booking.com however on arrival we were given a double |Jessica on reception was a star trying to reconfigure other bookings to help us out. in the end stayed where we were |Room was large airy and with an expected balcony. Sadly, due to driving rain we could not enjoy it|The room was immaculately cleaned called down for extra coffee and sugar delivered to the room within 5 minutes |Stayed here a number of years ago still the old girl is tired in places but comfortable and warm |Notice the addition of MPW Restaurant, unable to take advantage as we had already made prior arrangements for dinner that night.|If you are looking for a great hotel that is affordable, clean and comfortable? Waterfront location is excellent. Great views and easy taxi or car ride to local sites. Would have rated the hotel Excellent (5) but the room size I was given was too small. However, there are big U.S.-style and size rooms and Floor #1. Be sure to request these when booking. The front desk staff is excellent, especially Megan, who will go to great lengths to accomodate your requests. The hotel Maintenance/Electrician (Tom) was also fantastic, assisting with electric converters. All the food in this hotel, including the buffet breakfast, was really delicious and worht it. More...
