Bernie made our party perfect. He added the necessary magic to my grandma's 100th birthday party, managing to entertain all generations from 1-100, with a cheerful demeanour. He knew instinctively which music to play and when. He was proactive but not intrusive. It was like having an extra family member in the room. He even rehearsed and played accompaniment for an opera singer, at little notice, with a positive manner. we would love to have Bernie entertain us again. He is a true gent! More...
What do you love most about your job?
I love playing music and enjoy meeting people.I also feel good about performing in front of audiences it makes everyones life better.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Music has been a very big part of my life and I started playing from a very early age. My father was a part time performer who sang and played guitar so I learned to play guitar very quickly and through his example it lead me to performing in teenage bands , I subsequently leaned the piano and and have traveling the world as a piano/vocalist .
I never had a choice really ,music and performing defined what my career would be.

I have vast experience in this country and around the world, even now when I'm settled in UK i still perform on a regular basis in Europe at Music Festivals
and other venues . Ive played for HM the Queen and tiny pubs in the back streets of Liverpool right through to exclusive weddings ,restaurants, the Main Stage at Duran Jazz Festival, River Cruises and recently at a big 100th birthday party. so you can see I've met and played for all types of people,of all ages and with varying tastes in music . I'd consider that my repertoire of over 1000 songs (and growing) gives me the confidence to bring pleasure and enjoyment to any audience.
I consider myself an amiable guy with a good sense of humour,I'm seldom lost for a word and go out of my way to accommodate my clients wishes.
I always dress to suit the occasion ,am happy to learn specific requests,I don't smoke ,never drink at an engagement (except coffee & water please?) ,I travel alone and I am always early.
