Q&As

Caring has been an extremely rewarding journey for me. Knowing that I can make a difference in another person's life by supporting them with things that they now find difficult to do. Putting a smile on someone's face, a simple 'thank you' and knowing that my support is needed gives me the satisfaction that I am making an impact on others. The relationships that I make by engaging with people from all kinds of backgrounds and lifestyles whilst getting to learn about them and their experiences is priceless.

I have been in the caring field for 20 years working as an elderly mental health nurse. I have nursed and supported people on inpatient wards and in the community and during this time have also worked closely with families and carers. I have supported with arranging care support for my clients and appreciated the role to identify the appropriate service for my clients. I have seen the importance of the work they do and the impact they have on families and carers. With this inspiration, I decided to start my own business to provide good quality care working with people who are like-minded to enable people to stay in their own homes for longer, safely and comfortably.

I aim to provide a high standard of care with carers who are trained and dedicated to care. I endeavour to support my clients closely by being part of the workforce to ensure standards are upheld and the needs of my clients are safely met.

We will consider offering remote befriending services in the future to help with social isolation. A friendly voice at the end of the phone line could go a long way to give hope to a person.

My staff always ensure they have the appropriate PPE and do not visit clients if they are showing any symptoms of Covid-19.
