Nicola Bateup

As a dual qualified practitioner – qualified NHS cancer nurse specialist & complementary therapist, Nicola has the clinical expertise, experience and knowledge to offer a fully holistic assessment and personalised treatment plan tailored to your individual needs. Nicola qualified as a reflexologist (level 3 diploma) in 2014 at Brighton Holistics. Nicola has over 25 years of nursing experience. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1993 and has spent most of her nursing career working with patients with blood and bone marrow cancers. She has been a Macmillan Haematology Nurse Specialist for the last 18 years. Nicola has exemplary communication & counselling skills and treats all clients confidentially.

Nicola has also undertaken further training to carry out a reflexology technique specifically for lymphatic drainage (RLD). This proven technique for those with lymphoedema can offer improved health particularly for autoimmune disorders & such as Rheumatoid arthritis, ME and CFS. Nicola is now a qualified massage therapist (level 3 diploma 2015). She has since undertaken further training and is now qualified in deep tissue massage, pregnancy massage and oncology manual lymphatic drainage massage (MLD). She is also qualified in facial reflexology, advanced reflexology and zone face lift treatment (please see separate page for further detail).
