The last few months with the cost of living crisis have been a challenging time to remortgage our property. However with Charlie's invaluable and (very balanced! ) advice we were able to remortgage with complete confidence- she helped us navigate through a very uncertain time with so much support every single step of the way. The communication we experienced from both Charlie and Balanced as whole could not have been better. If you work unsociable hours/into the weekend they will tailor their service around you, not like many other services which operate Mon-Fri 9-5. If necessary, Charlie would have no issue going out of her way call us at 7pm some evenings and keep us up to date through the weekend where myself and my partner are busy and can only be available some evenings and weekends. In 2022, we set out to challenge ourselves to own the home of our dreams. We met a number of mortgage brokers along the way who unfortunately were unable to get us the amount of mortgage we required to own this home. Thankfully, we got recommended to Charlie by a friend. Charlie was above exceptional, she was very professional throughout the journey, set the right level of expectations, and in the end achieved the impossible by sourcing the right lender. After the mortgage approval and during the legal process for purchasing, she did not just walk away because she was done with her job, but rather kept checking in to know how the purchase was going. My partner and I were recommended balanced financial services by a family member, it was exciting but first time round we were told we couldn’t get mortgage. We waited a year and 2nd time round we got one! Told it was for £180k and then hit with the bombshell we needed 15% deposit and our interest rate was around 4%. Our mortgage advisor here was Andrea, the last time I heard from her was on the 31/08/2021 it’s now the 28/01/22 We’ve had no messages to see how we are getting on or if we still need her services. We ended up speaking to another mortgage advisor as we were told by countless amount of people that our current (Andrea) wasn’t doing enough. We got a really good deal and only needed 10% deposit. Next week, my partner and I will be moving into our very own house!!! With Andrea that would have been a flat. The service received was disappointing, we were recommended this company based on another person here and we allocated someone who in our opinion, didn’t care.
