About

I offer a warm, calm, empathic and non-judgemental approach to counselling, giving time and space to talk.  I am a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, working with the National Counselling Association.
I use a range of counselling styles, based around the individual's needs and I form a strong, therapeutic relationship with clients, which I feel is essential in providing a safe environment for clients to talk and bring about effective change.

As a counsellor I believe that we are there to help the client to help themselves in improving their wellbeing and mental health in everyday life.

I enjoy working with private clients in an environment to suit them, and enjoy having the flexibility to work with different people with a range of different challenges.

I provide a non-judgemental, caring approach to counselling but within a professional environment, where people feel safe and able to talk.

I am able to provide services using Zoom, Skype and over the phone at a time and place convenient to the clients.

By offering services online and remotely, this enables clients to be safe in their own home environment.

I am able to provide support with anxiety, depression, bereavement, crisis, anger, stress, trauma and relationship issues. I work with both adults and children, having over 20 years' experience of working with young people and adolescents. I have also worked with bereaved clients for 5 years.

The aim of psychotherapy is to explore the issues your are experiencing, looking at your thoughts and feelings. By developing a greater insight to your own feelings, this enables you to have long-lasting change and help guide you in the future.

I am a fully qualified and accredited hypnotherapist, registered with The Hypnotherapy Society. I use hypnotherapy to help people who are coping with the challenges of life, to fine greater happiness and peace.
