Lovely gardens and cafe only downside was the peace and tranquility was spoilt by the noise of grass cutting pity they can't do this before or after the gardens are closed for the dayPs if you are thinking of expanding a Japanese water garden would be nice.

Beautiful spot. A pleasant café with plentiful outdoor and indoor seating. Service friendly and efficient. Food good and a decent cup of coffee. A member of staff chased after us to hand over a forgotten fleece. Plant sales looks excellent and the gardens are a treasure. Well worth a visit on all levels More...

Nice garden, mean owner. We bought a plant and paid for it. Picked it up and the main stem of a plant broke. Shop refused to exchange. ‘It’s no good to us.’ Spoilt the visit and we will not return. More...

We cannot thank DG Bastins enough, for our amazing garden. We had a few ideas of what we had in mind for some of the garden, these guys were brilliant coming up with ideas and designs. We were totally involved and included through out the build . Family is how we feel about all of the team. Totally trustworthy, polite, so hard working and wanted to ensure we were happy with everything.Thank you so much, Tommy and Sam for your attention to detail. We can’t wait to show of our beautiful garden. We would not hesitate to recommend DG Bastin. Great job. More...

A very beautiful private house gardens. The work is lovely. There are benches scattered throughout providing good rest stops. The only limitation is a single toilet block at the entrance. The cafe on site boasts a good range of food very fairly priced. Beautifully situated and well maintained. Well worth a visit. More...

These are well worth visiting. The gardens were full of interest and colour even in early autumn. The size of the gardens is impressive giving an opportunity to cultivate both formal and informal/wild areas. Developed on a large hillside, you will feel especially grateful for the excellent home baked treats in the tearooms. The plant sales area also has expert advice on hand. Well done to all the staff involved. More...
