Spouse Visa
This visa allows a non-British partner residing outside the United Kingdom to immigrate and settle with their partner (Husband or Wife) in the UK. It is also known as the Partner or Marriage visa.
To apply, one must be legally married to, or be in a civil partnership with a British citizen, someone with indefinite leave to remain (ILR) /Settled status or a UK refugee. It also gives the joining partner the right to work in the UK.
Generally, the following requirements must be met in order to apply:
-Both partners must be at least 18 years of age and have been married at the time of applying.
-They must have met each other in person and should be in a genuine and subsisting relationship.
The partner in the UK must either:
be a British Citizen
hold settled status / ILR in the UK
be a UK refugee or have humanitarian protection in the UK
be from the EU, Norway, Switzerland, Iceland, or Liechtenstein and have pre-settled status
hold a Turkish Businessperson visa or Turkish Worker visa
The couple must intend to permanently live together in the UK.
The immigrating partner must have passed the English language requirements unless they are from an English speaking country.
The immigrating partner must have adequate accommodation without recourse to public funds.
The sponsoring partner (Husband or Wife) in the UK must have an income of at least £18,600 per year before tax (this increases if you have children) and/or should have sufficient savings or exempt if in receipt of certain benefits such as carers allowance or disability allowance. They can also rely upon savings.
What are the Spouse Visa required documents?
Here is a checklist of the documents that must be provided in support of your Partner Visa application:
Evidence of ‘Genuine Relationship’ document
Evidence of original/certified copy of Marriage Certificate
Proof of English language proficiency
Evidence of Financial income
Proof of living arrangements/accommodation
TB test for entry clearance (if applicable)

The route is available for any business owners who have an established business in the UK or if you intend to establish a business in the UK in the future so that you can settle in the UK.
Main Requirements for a Self-Sponsorship Skilled Worker Visa
To sponsor yourself in your own company in the UK for a Skilled Worker Visa, you must satisfy the following UK immigration rules:-
You are aged 18 or over;
You either intend to establish a business in the UK, or you already have an established UK company that is actively trading and genuine;
Your UK company has successfully applied for a Skilled Worker Sponsor Licence;
Your UK company has assigned a valid Certificate of Sponsorship to you for the job you intend to do;
Your job offer is a genuine vacancy;
Your job is at an appropriate skill level;
You will be paid a salary that equals or exceeds a general salary threshold at the ‘going rate for the occupation and a minimum hourly rate (if applicable);
Your sponsor has paid any required immigration skills charge;
You are competent in the English language to at least CEFR Level B1 (equivalent to IELTS 4.0);
You have enough money to support yourself without relying on public funds;
You have provided a criminal record certificate, if applicable, and
You have provided a valid TB certificate, if applicable.
