Austin, Davis & Son Ltd is truly a family business that cares and gives that, much-needed assistance to families that are faced with the death of a loved one. Their values are based on the core of humanity. From the moment we met Angela on the 22nd of April, 2021, and conversed with her, we knew we were at the right place. She listened and gave ideas but most importantly she made us feel at ease. We highly appreciate the care taken right from the point of taking our beloved brother into their care, to arranging the viewing at the Chapel of Rest, to the last drive-by his home and the assistance accorded at the Church and facilitation at his final resting place on the 12th of May, 2021. The respect displayed by their able undertakers: John Norris, Lee Bentley, David Smith and David Aspris, was admirable. With no doubt, we highly recommend Austin, Davis and Son Ltd, their empathy can be described as ‘a glow of brightness in the face of darkness’. What do you love most about your job?
As an independent family run funeral directors, we are able to provide a very personal service at a reasonable price.
What inspired you to start your own business?
My business is named after the two sides of my family. My true inspiration to become a funeral director was my Nan.
Why should our clients choose you?
We are a totally independent family funeral business and can tailor our services to suit your needs and budget.

Most funerals can be arranged over the the telephone and by email for ease of the client. We will do our best to accommodate your requests and needs.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We adhered to all government advice during the pandemic. If clients feel safer with us wearing a face covering then we will. We have hand sanitiser located in our branches.
Direct cremation service £950.00
Direct cremation is a low-cost option. The service is unattended by mourners.
Direct burial service from £2500.00
This service allows those who wish to be buried but at a low cost.
Simple funeral service £1450.00
This option provides a hearse only, all the staff on the day of the funeral, all administration and advice, provision of a funeral director on the day of the funeral.
Traditional Funeral service £1995.00
This option provides a hearse and one limousine, all the staff on the day of the funeral, all administration and advice, provision of a funeral director on the day of the funeral.
