Mike was very helpful from start to finish we did a loft conversion and was recommended Mike by a work colleague.
Two bed and a bathroom.
The job went on a bit longer than expected but we did run into alot of issues with the walls, Mike managed to find savings in the project to do the necessary repairs which was good.
So all in all I can't complain about a couple of extra weeks of extra work when we still got the project done on budget.
Would be happy to recommend him to anyone.

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
One word headroom, if you've got the required height a loft conversion is possible,
The next question is what kinda of loft is possible, the easiest way to find this out is to go into your back garden and see if your neighbours have had lofts done this will give you an idea of what is possible.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Depending on the age of the property, the work required to achieve a loft conversion can be contained in the roof space, unfortunately some properties are quite old and haven't been updated in quite some time in this case there's a good chance the first floor ceiling and wall might need updating during the project.
The main starting point is scaffolding with a tin roof this allows works to continue in the autumn/winter months protecting the property from rain wind etc.
Then the roof comes off, from there the structure drawings will inform us how many steels need to be installed to support the new structure.
After this it's new joists flooring walls and brickwork then roofing and windows, electrical and plumbing First fix.
Now comes the closing up, plasterboarding stairs and plastering.
Then tiling for a bathroom if required woodwork, second fix electrical and plumbing, your flooring last but not least decorating.

We stand over all our projects. 12 months is standard but if there's any issues after that we will return to try our best to resolve them, the key to any issues is communication.

Construction is a very challenging, complex and creative environment and I couldn't see myself doing anything else that provides new challenges every day every week.

Once a plan is made we stick to our price and keep the client informed throughout the project, if we find an issue and the plan changes we contact the client immediately and discuss any issues this will cause to budget and timeline.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
All our staff are informed to stay at home if they feel sick from covid-19 or any other influenza that can spread and cause the whole company and clients to become sick and stop works.
Loft conversion
With many projects behind us we can carry out even the most complex loft projects, if you have plans and would like to send them to us we can give an estimate, if its close to the number you'd plan on spending we can arrange a site visit to do a detailed quote.
