I called Astral Inspections to survey my roof and chimneys after some high winds and I thought there might be some damage.
Our roof being mid terrace 3 stories up it's not so easy to see anything and way too dangerous to use a ladder.
A very professional young man called Keith turned up and proceeded to fly his drone over and around my roof to video and take close up images of the areas I requested.
We actually found out that we had tiles loose, ridge tiles and blocked gutters.
I'll be using Astral Inspections every year now after the winter to give our roof an inspection.

As the owner of a drone roof inspection company, what I love most about my job is the opportunity to combine my passion for technology and aerial photography with providing valuable services to clients. Getting the sense that I am flying, through the drones. Who doesn't want to be able to fly.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The decision to start my own drone roof inspection business was inspired by a combination of factors and personal motivations.
Passion for Drones and Technology: I have always been fascinated by technology and the potential it holds to revolutionize various industries. Drones, in particular, captivated me with their ability to capture aerial perspectives and collect data in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.
I wanted to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the society in my own way. By offering efficient and accurate drone roof inspections, I saw an opportunity to help property owners and managers make informed decisions about their roofs, leading to cost savings, improved maintenance practices, and ultimately safer living and working environments. Knowing that my work can have a positive impact on others' lives was a strong motivator in starting my own business.

Yes, I provide remote drone roof inspection services. Clients can communicate with me online or over the phone to discuss their property details and any specific areas of concern. I conduct the inspection remotely by piloting the drone and capturing aerial imagery and videos of the roof. The collected data is securely transferred to the client for analysis. I provide a detailed report and offer remote consultations to address any questions or concerns.

Drone inspections offer advantages like improved safety, faster data collection, and access to hard-to-reach areas.
Thermal Property Inspection
Using both thermal drone and handheld thermal inspections offer the advantage of non-contact, non-destructive testing. They can detect heat signatures and temperature differentials that may be invisible to the naked eye, helping identify potential problems before they escalate. The captured thermal data can be analysed and interpreted to assess the condition of equipment, detect energy inefficiencies, locate insulation gaps, identify water leaks, or even assist in search and rescue operations.
E.M.F. Inspection
During an EMF inspection, the inspector moves throughout the space being assessed and measures the EMF levels using the appropriate equipment.
