Keith from Astral Inspections came to our property and conducted a drone inspection of the roof. This was a very important part of our journey to buy the property because we knew that the drone inspection would identify any problems that can’t be seen from the ground. We found Keith to be extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable, nothing was too much trouble. After the inspection Keith provided us with the footage within a couple of days. All round we highly recommend Astral Inspections! More...

We had Astral inspections do some cinematic drone videos of our fleet and the outcome was outstanding.
Really impressed with the service and video quality was second to none!

I called Astral Inspections to survey my roof and chimneys after some high winds and I thought there might be some damage. Our roof being mid terrace 3 stories up it's not so easy to see anything and way too dangerous to use a ladder.

A very professional young man called Keith turned up and proceeded to fly his drone over and around my roof to video and take close up images of the areas I requested.

We actually found out that we had tiles loose, ridge tiles and blocked gutters.

I'll be using Astral Inspections every year now after the winter to give our roof an inspection.

Thanks for the great service Keith.

Q&As

As the owner of a drone roof inspection company, what I love most about my job is the opportunity to combine my passion for technology and aerial photography with providing valuable services to clients. Getting the sense that I am flying, through the drones. Who doesn't want to be able to fly.

The decision to start my own drone roof inspection business was inspired by a combination of factors and personal motivations.
Passion for Drones and Technology: I have always been fascinated by technology and the potential it holds to revolutionize various industries. Drones, in particular, captivated me with their ability to capture aerial perspectives and collect data in a more efficient and cost-effective manner.
I wanted to make a meaningful impact and contribute to the society in my own way. By offering efficient and accurate drone roof inspections, I saw an opportunity to help property owners and managers make informed decisions about their roofs, leading to cost savings, improved maintenance practices, and ultimately safer living and working environments. Knowing that my work can have a positive impact on others' lives was a strong motivator in starting my own business.

By choosing Astral Inspections, clients can expect advanced technology, expertise, a focus on safety, comprehensive reporting, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and ongoing support. We are confident in our ability to deliver exceptional results and provide clients with the valuable information they need to make informed decisions about their roofs.

Yes, I provide remote drone roof inspection services. Clients can communicate with me online or over the phone to discuss their property details and any specific areas of concern. I conduct the inspection remotely by piloting the drone and capturing aerial imagery and videos of the roof. The collected data is securely transferred to the client for analysis. I provide a detailed report and offer remote consultations to address any questions or concerns.

Here are some of the measures are taking:

Contactless Communication: Our communication channels are primarily online, phone, or email interactions to minimize in-person contact. This includes discussing project details, scheduling, and addressing any concerns or questions.

Remote Operations: Our drone inspections are conducted remotely, eliminating the need for direct contact between our operators and clients. This ensures physical distancing guidelines are followed and reduces the risk of potential transmission.

Enhanced Sanitization: We have implemented rigorous sanitization practices for all our equipment, including drones, cameras, and other tools. This helps maintain a clean and safe environment during inspections.

Safety Protocols: Our drone operators strictly follow safety protocols, including wearing masks, practicing proper hand hygiene, and maintaining physical distancing when necessary. We prioritize the safety of our team members and clients alike.

Flexibility and Accommodation: We understand that the COVID-19 situation is constantly evolving. We offer flexibility in rescheduling inspections or accommodating specific requests from clients who may have concerns or unique circumstances related to the pandemic.

Services

A drone is used to fly over a roof and capture high-resolution images and videos. These visuals are then analysed to identify any issues or areas of concern, such as damaged shingles, leaks, flashing problems, or structural damage. The collected data is used to generate a detailed report for necessary repairs or maintenance. Drone inspections offer advantages like improved safety, faster data collection, and access to hard-to-reach areas.

Using both thermal drone and handheld thermal inspections offer the advantage of non-contact, non-destructive testing. They can detect heat signatures and temperature differentials that may be invisible to the naked eye, helping identify potential problems before they escalate. The captured thermal data can be analysed and interpreted to assess the condition of equipment, detect energy inefficiencies, locate insulation gaps, identify water leaks, or even assist in search and rescue operations.

During an EMF inspection, the inspector moves throughout the space being assessed and measures the EMF levels using the appropriate equipment. The sources of EMFs can include power lines, electrical wiring, appliances, electronic devices, Wi-Fi routers, cell towers, and more. The inspector identifies and records areas with high EMF levels, which may be of concern due to potential health risks or interference with sensitive equipment.

The purpose of an EMF inspection is to evaluate the exposure levels to electromagnetic radiation and assess compliance with safety guidelines or regulations. This inspection is often conducted in residential, commercial, or industrial settings where individuals may spend a significant amount of time.

UV inspection involves using ultraviolet (UV) light to reveal hidden substances or conditions that are not visible to the naked eye. UV light sources illuminate the target area, causing certain materials such as Mould, Bacteria,
Body Fluids to fluoresce and become visible.
