What do you love most about your job?
An answer we can't help but split into two really.
Firstly, its brilliant to meet so many fantastic people through Dorset, sharing information across trades over a brew, what better?!
And then, just before the final handshake occurs, its that finished result, transformed into the customers vision, that makes it for us, seeing a customers face lit up knowing they not only made a solid correct decision choosing Aspectworks, but their goal has been realised. Knowing a customer really appreciates the work, effort and skill applied, which is usually by way of copious amounts of Tea and Coffee followed by a million thank yous, just makes it all worthwhile for us at Aspectworks.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Being able to remove all the complicated jargon and hurdles for customers was a huge goal and is always ongoing, but I think we manage that very well, reflected in the work we complete and reviews received across platforms.
With two of us at the helm of Aspectworks, our differing skills really work well for us, and this makes the entire enterprise worthwhile.
And not forgetting 'Nick'- he's a great chap, who's been encouraging us to continue, giving us pointers regularly, but Nick doesn't work for Aspectworks, he's just a friend who offers garden services, planting, horticulture and such for Lush and he's really been a real source of positivity over the last few years, so thank you Nick!

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have always observed the correct Covid-19 regulations and guidelines to our trade when interacting with any individuals:
+ Social Distancing - 2 meters minimum.
+ PPE Requests when entering any and all premises including residential.
+ Always sanitizing touch points to avoid potential contact cross contamination.
Our customers and each others safety is our highest priority, all external individuals are classed as a risk-point to Aspectworks and so we treat each and every one as a potential cross contaminator for all parties best interest.
Paving Services
We provide bespoke porcelain, paving and budget paving for any size or shape area.
Custom designs or paving packs are also provided, plus dropped features such as circular seating features.
A choice of colour and shade of materials is always (when available) offered regardless of budget.
Lawn - Turf Installation
We provide an inspection service free of charge when gathering information for our quotes when dealing with new turf.
We always remove original soil, replacing with a cost range of turf.
We also provide instructions on future care as supplier instructions.
Any size or shaped area is catered for.
Lawn - Artificial Grass Installation
With all artificial grass, we provide the correct and appropriate sub-base, plus two separate layers of weed control membrane.
We provide all grass thicknesses from 18mm to 42mm, and also provide astro-turf football installation.
We only use quality products from manufacturer plus to further strengthen our grass, we also install a frame-for-borders to fix the grass to.
We cater for all sizes, shapes of area and budgets.
Fencing
We can supply wooden, metal, composite or chain link fencing in varying heights to 6ft/1.8m at any length necessary for your installation.
We provide customers with advice on a choice of materials for lifespan, finish and costing.
We also take into account the surrounding elements that may effect the products lifespan, such as overhanging trees, moisture traps or the elevation of the property or adjoining areas.
We provide a free inspection of the area for your new fence, this ensures we have taken into account anything which may hinder the work or that you need to be made aware of. This can include, but is not restricted to: infrastructure (pipescables etc), over-hanging obstacles, above or below ground previous installations which may need removal.
Foundations
Should you require a new shed base, or something more substantial to build upon, such as an extended office, we can assist.
As with all our services, we inspect and advise on the appropriate materials for the above ground installation, to support and give further lifespan if and when possible dependent on current installations.
External Structures
We can provide extensive advise on outdoor temporary structures such as Gazebos, Pergolas, Arbors, Greenhouses or Pavillions and even Ponds.
We provide an end-to-end service from your plans to finished, built and functional for your usage.
Landscaping
Aspectworks have completed countless conversions to outside areas of all sizes and elevations.
We can provide a planned 2d or 3D layout, with all the desired features included prior to work beginning.
Borders
We can provide and install raised or surface level borders, using a variety of materials to suit your request.
These can be in addition to ongoing work or as part of a larger planned work.
