Q&As

As an organisation, we pride ourselves in making a difference in other people's lives. We know what we do helps them to stay living independently in their own homes and our clients love to see our carers walking in the door. Caring for other people makes us feel valued. We have wonderful relationships with our clients.

As a social worker, I had reached a point where I was frustrated by not being able to progress my career, or support people in the way in which I felt they deserved to be supported. I had little autonomy to work in a way that I felt was real social work. I worked with some fantastic people who do some amazing work, but it was time to make a bold step forward and leave my full-time job to own and run a care agency.

I decided that setting up my own care agency was where I could do my best work. I can support the clients to get the best possible care and support, plus I can ensure that the staff supporting them are well trained, feel valued and respected for the fantastic job they do day in day out.
It’s a wonderful job and I have no regrets of leaving the local authority. My fantastic team are making a real difference to our clients’ lives and that’s what I believe real social work should be all about.

Ashvic is a company which genuinely understand and care. As an organisation, we have created a culture that we are proud of, where our staff and clients are valued and respected and are at the centre of all of our thinking and everything we do.
We are driven to deliver the service that we would want for ourselves, should we ever need help in our own home.
Welcome to Ashvic 24/7 Quality Care Services Limited, a family business set up and run by Tackler Tinoengana and supported by a team of dedicated and experienced staff.
With many years’ experience in home care and dementia care services, Tackler’s entire working life has been within the care sector. Drawing on her experience both professionally and personally, she knew that she should use this expertise to set up Ashvic 247 Quality Care Services Limited and provide a service that her clients need and want.
To us, the little things are not little. The little things are the important things. Whether it is strictly adhering to our clients’ routines or its making plans to support our carers when they’re not working, it’s the small things that make a difference.
No two people are the same, which means every care plan needs to be tailored to the individual’s needs.
Our value system is at the core of everything we do. With a hands-on business approach, we make sure that we are getting individual care right. We are always available to discuss and advise on the different care options that we offer. The organisation is supported by an office team who all bring a wealth of front-line experience in delivering and coordinating care for older people and those with disabilities. The team takes great pride in recruiting and training the right staff and ensuring that our care staff have the support they need to perform at their very best. Although skills and experience are extremely important, we feel passionately that our carers must also have a deep-seated value system and the ability to empathise with others.
It is the job of the whole team to ensure that we meet the standards that are put in place by the CQC. Paying the utmost attention to every client that we work with, each team member will have a role in overseeing the client relationship and making sure they are happy every step of the way.
Our team will consult with other professionals, such as District Nurses and GPs, to make sure that our clients get the highest level of all-round care and support.
