I found Soroosh to be very professional and he provided an excellent service to me. His reply to me was very prompt and we arranged to meet and during the time he was at my home he was extremely polite and listened very carefully to what I wanted and contacted my builder the same day to clarify any questions I could not answer. The drawings and calculations were done within 48hrs so I could submit them to the local building control department and get permission to go ahead with the work. I found Soroosh from Asadi Structures Limited to be highly professional and friendly in dealing with the Structural Survey I requested. He called on the day I posted the request for a survey and he immediately gave me his professional opinion over the phone based on the photos and information I had provided him. I felt highly confident in his approach and his opinion and I could have just gone ahead and knocked the wall down but I decided to engage in his services and booked an appointment for Soroosh to attend our property and provide a professional assessment. Soroosh arrived on time the following day to provide his assessment of whether or not I could knock the walls down and provide me with a written report detailing exactly what we had discussed at the property. Soroosh took some photos and said he would provide the report within the next few days. True to his word, Soroosh emailed me the report and I proceeded to knock the two walls down. Basment can be created within the perimeter of the house or outside it.
Site visit
A site visit for the engineer to have a clear understanding of the property. It is also to give the client an understanding of what the construction will consist of and what structural solutions are available.
