Arki Design provided an excellent service from beginning to end. The planning permissions for the entire house were done with great detail and accuracy, approved by the council much to our delight.

Each family member required their own independence, privacy and comfort. We never imagined we’d be able to fit en-suite bathrooms within each bedroom but an entire rethink of the bedroom layouts by Ahmed made this possible.

The downstairs layout was also changed dramatically. Ahmed’s idea was to bring the kitchen to the front of the house for a large open plan dining and living area as well as the garden during warmer weather. This has allowed the perfect space and surroundings for maximum entertainment.

The interior and fittings such as the lighting, worktops and flooring exceeded all our expectations and gave the house that final touch it needed.

Ahmed’s project management was consistent, honest and delivered the best results, keeping us in the know at all times yet also keeping our minds at ease.

Having lived in the same area for most of our lives, we were keen to renovate our home and avoid having to move. The house was extremely outdated and finding a way to meet the entire family’s needs seemed impossible.

However, within one sitting with Ahmed of Arki Design, we could finally envision a total transformation of the house into our dream home. Ahmed was able to think outside of the box and suggest many great yet practical ideas.

The project included a huge (6 metre) rear extension as well as a side and loft extension. The side extension meant that all mobility issues were dealt with as it was turned into a ground floor bedroom with plenty of space and easy access as well as its own en-suite bathroom.

The rear extension has allowed us to have a large and welcoming living area with plenty of natural daylight as well as beautiful light fittings throughout.

The loft extension allowed for a sizeable bedroom, providing a comfortable amount of space for living, resting and privacy.
