Lovely little place for lunch when my friend and I visit Cowbridge from Cardiff. The Sunday lunch is delicious - however - as I had the veggie Sunday Roast this time - I think at almost £17 there should be a Nut Roast / Mushroom Wellington etc etc included. I was a bit disappointed to see I had Yorkshire pudding, gravy, veggies and potatoes (which were all absolutely delicious) but no meat alternative. On April 20 2019 my mum her partner and I visited here for breakfast. The staff were welcoming and friendly the breakfast was incredible the apple juice was absolutely fresh and tasted amazing. The service was quick and efficient I’m definitely recommend this place and I didn’t realise when got there it was dog friendly that was a bonus for me however due to being extremely hot my dog wouldn’t cope. My husband and I have been coming to Arboreal for about a year now when we spotted the big front windows and the comfy sette displayed on a sunny day from the main road - I walked straight through the window thinking it was the door to the amusement of the friendly staff members I was suffering with gallbladder issues at the time so needed extra care with dietary requirements which the staff adhered to throughout and I was able to enjoy a full tasty meal at Arboreal without having a gallbladder attack - my regular was the vegetarian breakfast with spinach and it was to die for! I have since had my surgery and my husband and I now have the Arboreal breakfast each which I believe is served all day and is the perfect amount of food, not greasy, and so tasty! We have also been to Arboreal for our anniversary meal in the evening and worried that the night meals wouldn’t compare to the mornings but we couldn’t have been more wrong! The steak was so tender and cooked to perfection and as always service was amazing with a perfect cosy but trendy aesthetic that is exactly what my husband and I love on our little child-free meals out (children are optional we just choose not to bring ours ) Love Arboreal and wish we could give it more stars!
