We booked Aqua Rose for an end of tenancy clean for a large 4 bed shared house, paying £300. Photos of every room were sent in advance.
Hannah arrived on her own (which for £300 and such a large house we were expecting a team of cleaners for), with very basic equipment, not of professional standard.
Many areas of the house were missed, the carpets weren’t hoovered properly, the oven hadn’t been steam cleaned (despite us paying extra for this). Freezer, dishwasher, washing machine all not cleaned at all. The independent inventory assessor described it as a ‘poor domestic clean, not of professional standard’.
We raised this with Hannah and she refused to return to the property to complete the job, nor part reimburse us to help cover the cost of £150 that we have had to pay for another professional cleaner to go in.
It’s also worth adding that Hannah tried to cancel on the day, then arrived 2 hours later than agreed. She then disputed the size of the house upon arrival despite having seen photos of every room in advance.
Overall I feel very disappointed at the extra time, effort and money we have had to put in to resolve the above issues. More...

Hi Molly, As we have discussed privately, the property was in an appalling state on my arrival. I then advised you that the property needed a deep clean rather than an end of tenancy clean, as it hadn’t been properly domestically cleaned for quite some time, to which I had no response from you. I have photos as evidence of the state of the property on my arrival, and also spent 9 hours cleaning. You were also advised before my arrival that if the oven was heavily soiled, that you would need a professional oven cleaning company in, as I only offer a basic oven clean. I advised you I could try my best with a steam cleaner but it would’nt be a complete solution. Regarding the freezer not being cleaned, both the fridge and freezer were steam cleaned, but as noted on the invoice, the freezer should have been defrosted before my arrival to ensure a proper clean. I tried to change the days of the clean as I had a personal issue that couldnt be helped and you were very understanding of this, and with me changing the start time to the clean. I kept communications with you clear so you were aware of when I would be arriving etc. I dont feel this is in any way a fair reflection of the work that was carried out.

Hannah was friendly and helpful, kept in touch throughout and they did an excellent job with the cleaning. Very happy with the service. Thanks
