What do you love most about your job?
I love the variety that my job offers. One day I'll be writing about brilliant baking blogs, the next I'll be writing a very serious post about property prices in East London! Working as a freelance writer keeps me on my toes mentally too, as there's plenty of research involved, depending on the project.
I also enjoy the creativity of writing. Crafting each piece of copy until it sounds just right for the client can be a challenge, but it's always an enjoyable one.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was looking for a way to use my writing ability to earn a little while my daughter was young. My first business involved writing medieval wedding poems for castle weddings! I still write for weddings around the world.
I set up my current business after I landed some work writing for a digital agency and realised that copywriting is the job for me!
