Please do not be misguided by andreis response. This is a blatant lie. It was made clear that the work was unfinished and incomplete and also to an inadequate standard. Andrei agreed to come back and both finish and repair any issues but when the time came he blocked us from contact. Anyone thinking of using andreis services pls be warned and go with a more established builder/decorator, or any that have no negative reviews such as this. Our initial collaboration with Andrei was promising, but our recent experience was deeply disappointing. The quality of his work on a straightforward project left much to be desired – it was rushed, messy, incomplete, and lacked the expected attention to detail and overall quality we are used to. We found ourselves having to engage another painter-decorator to rectify the issues and fulfill the outstanding contractual commitments.

Our concerns extended beyond the quality of work. Andrei's behavior raised serious ethical concerns. He constantly cut corners, claiming to have applied two coats of light grey paint to five rooms, but the result was a faded white frame on each wall, indicating only one coat had been applied. His assertion of sanding down woodwork was also proven false upon inspection and the list went on

After completing the job, we initially agreed to pay the full amount, on the basis that Andrei would return to address the deficiencies. However, he repeatedly provided false completion dates, demonstrating no genuine intent to finish the work and effectively wasting our time. This led us to seek another professional and request a partial refund of £500 to cover the additional expenses incurred in order to move forward amicably.

Regrettably, Andrei ceased communication altogether, leaving us with no recourse. Stories of unreliable contractors like Andrei serve as cautionary tales, and we strongly advise anyone considering his services to exercise great caution. One negative experience among a few positive ones should serve as a warning sign to remain vigilant and continue your search for a trustworthy professional.

Hi Jonathan, We want to start by saying that we are sorry for your experience. However, I do want to mention that we did warn you at the beggining of the project that the materials purchased by you were cheap and very bad quality and the results will not be the same as on the first property. Your exact words were "not to worry, the property is going to be rented out so all I need is a refresh". Furthermore, our work was checked out by you on different occasions and you seemed to be happy with the results, therefore you have made the payment. We do believe this review is because we refused to do the extra work you wanted us to do unpaid. We do track all of our projects and have evidence that all the works carried out are to maximum standard. We have clarified to you on many occasions that we will not carry out any unpaid work and clearly you were not happy about it. I do want to apologise again and wish you all the best! Andrie and his team were amazing in every way.

He responded to my bark request almost instantly, was able to come and decorate my living room and landing just two days later. He even went to buy more paint in the middle of the day when we realised my paint wasn’t quite right for the job.
