After both family and personal struggles with mental health and having received some excellent counselling myself I decided to study to be able to help others in similar situations. Having received counselling myself I understand how daunting it can be to seek help but know how much can be gained by working with an understanding counsellor that is right for you.

It is important to me to offer you a safe and confidential environment to speak freely. To really listen to you, with empathy and no judgement, so that together we can find the right path forward for you.

As an integrative counsellor I use a variety of techniques to explore the past and the present and your hopes for the future. My core training is in person Centred counselling meaning I will follow the core conditions of that field, those being to show empathy, be honest and genuine and never to judge, to accept you as you are and we will work in a direction and pace set by you.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and am fully accredited member of the National Counselling Society and am therefore bound by their code of conduct end ethics.
