My partner and myself chose Alison law to apply for a fiancé visa. Communication was good until we had made the payment for their services, after that, multiple emails were sent to them with only intermittent replies from them. They gave us conflicting advice on multiple areas which caused us both great distress. After numerous unanswered telephone calls and emails to them over the course of two months we decided to end our contract with them. They appear to have no communication skills and totally lack any compassion and professionalism. Although the ‘work’ they undertook for us was minimal and flawed we were informed that we would not be refunded any of the money we gave them. Absolute shambles of a firm. Would strongly avoid this company. Don’t be swayed by their promising approach to helping your situation. The moment we paid the fees upfront, we were left in darkness. It’s been so difficult with communication, and over the past few months there’s almost no response and replies from emails. I’ve felt like I’ve done it all myself. They ended up submitting my application a DAY BEFORE our visa ran out, literally within the last 5minutes of office hours. How stressful. I was never provided with clear direction, and they keep telling me they’ll call me back same day - but day after day I get nothing. No response. No email. Nothing. Absolute rubbish service. Did not bother to follow up post receiving payment. Sent an extremely long tedious "survey" without guidance and then just radio silence. .. They also do not respond to their mails and then feign ignorance when confronted about ignored mails. The way that they treat foreigners is horrendous as well - it was apparent from the response of the case worker, he was not keen on speaking with me but was super enthusiastic when my white husband answered the phone.. Horrible experience I have ever seen. Application is still in progress but not sure it will be accepted or not . My previous agency did everything themselves. Here you pay lots of money and you do everything yourself . They do nothing and potentially it takes lots of time . They didn't review it thoroughly . Application agreed to change date of arrival but lawyer forgot to change this in application form. When I asked she said I told you we have passed changes stages . She has to give you lots of excuses just to prove she is right ))) They just want to make some money by doing anything doesn’t matter it’s good or not . Better you close this Allison law and open charity and ask for money to survive You will do this better. And please don’t call me and tell me to change my review OK ? It’s time people see your actual experience rather than hide it . But who’s responsibility is to take care of correct submitted application ? YOURS I paid you between £700-1000 to take care of the application and not to send excuses . Before I saw bad review and told them they said it’s a scam . But is this scam as well ? My recommendation for you who is looking for a solicitor: AVOID THEM!! They only give you assistance in the beginning just to take your money, then they do absolutely NOTHING! You can't get in touch with them because the solicitors seem to be "busy" all the time you ring and doesn't even reply your emails. AN ABSURD! Nadeem (one of the solicitors) is the WORST!
