Alex is fabulous I got married a few months ago and was incredibly worried about not looking like me x I’m also 49 yrs old and didn’t want to look fake Alex was amazing. During our conversations before i booked my appointment I felt reassured that Alex understood what I wanted and didn’t want. I booked a trial! That was an absolute success. Alex talked me through how I apply make up and my preferences and offered suggestions. At the end of the session I looked lovely (and you don’t say that about yourself very often!) Her range of high end makeup is impressive! I then booked my mum in (aged 80), my 3 bridesmaids and my flower girl On the day she came to my house and made us all feel special and look great. Alex is an amazing makeup artist. She did the wedding makeup for me and my six bridesmaids last summer and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Alex was recommended to me by a friend for my bridal make up and I am so pleased she was! She was friendly, kind and professional. As someone who knows very little about makeup Alex immediately put me at ease and worked out what would suit my skin tone and hair. We had a wedding trial which helped me to see what style we would go for. On the day Alex organised the bridal party (of 6!) with ease and flexibility. I was a bridesmaids for my friends wedding on Friday 17th August and Alex did my make up. Alex asked me what I wanted to do but I was unsure because I never wear a lot of make up, sometimes wearing none at all. I said to Alex I want a natural look but something glam too. I didn’t want to look like I had loads of make up on because that’s not me. While Alex was doing my make up the bride and other bridesmaid kept telling me I looked amazing but I had no mirror to look in so had to wait until she had finished. When Alex had finished I was completely blown away, literally crying over make up. I looked amazing, it made me feel special for the day and I felt pretty! It lasted the whole day, no touch ups. I was sad to take it off at the end of the day lol. The bride the next day said I was the best transformation because I hardly wear make up but still looked like me and that’s what I wanted !
