What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
• Logotype development: Logos are divided into two categories which are text based designs and ones that have an icon with text. Icon based designs can be separated from the company’s name and used as a stand alone branding component if you so choose. Clients may be unsure which category they wish to develop and which is best for their company; this is not a problem and we willingly experiment and recommend a design direction.
• Peace of mind: All of our logos are designed only in Adobe Illustrator (vector format). This means they can be enlarged to any dimensions without compromising the clarity which enables freedom for your branding to be situated on any medium without restriction.
• Electronic files: The finished logotype is supplied via email in the following file formats: ai, pdf, eps, png and jpeg.
• Logo copyright: We will transfer full copyright on the agreed final designs to the client and we will have no legal right to use it without the clients’ consent.

You’re also welcome to send us attached web links to companies that you like the style of a logo and don’t. This would also help us to build up a picture of the designs your company requires.
You can send any accompanying materials and additional information by post or email. This could be anything from your own rough ideas to background reading for our Creative Director.
The more information and ideas you have in mind the better and easier it is for us to translate them into the final high quality logo you’ll always be proud of.
CREATIVE DESIGN PROCESS
Based on the brief received and the 50% deposit has been transferred, within approximately ten working days we will email you four initial designs for your selection. These are a spring board to receive your feedback and develop the designs until you are completely satisfied with the final design.
Providing a high quality design service is very important to us.
CONCLUSION OF THE PROCESS
Once you have approved the final designs and the 50% balance has been transferred, your logo will be prepared in a range of electronic file types and sent to you via email for immediate use.
Files you receive will be in the following formats:
Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
Portable Data File (.pdf)
Encapsulated PostScripts (.eps)
Joint Photographic Experts Group (.jpeg)
Portable Network Graphics (.png)
Photoshop Data (.psd)

Martin Christie has been working in the industry for over 20 years and has considerable knowledge and experience in graphic design.
Having worked for branding companies in London including ‘Virgin’ he also has experience in the international market. Singapore was his base for four years helping him expand his design style, technique and business acumen.
