Alexander Jefferson, Royston, Tony Jefferson, Gulfan (electrician) and the 5 other unskilled foreigners (AJ special Projects) all from the dudley area, Jake (Roof fix Midland Ltd), steve (swift building services Ltd) have left my house in a state which you cannot even live in.
Started job in April 2021 (6 month contract) for a full house renovation, gave an extra 2 months.
He put his tail between his legs and done one in November 2021. Did not have the balls to honour the contract we signed.
They completed 30% of the work and took 100% of the money.
No electrics, No gas, No water, No roof, No Side Extension, No windows. No Boiler, No Radiators, No Kitchen, No bathroom, No toilet, No Flooring, No Stairs, All internal walls unplastered only brick showing.
External brickwork showing not rendered causing damp on walls internally.
Leaking pipework.
Gulfan left wiring upstairs for down lights in ceiling, disgraceful wiring job including all sockets and lighting switches. 5 pairs of wires coming out of 1 double socket, one of which was for the lighting circuit.
5 different so called brick layers worked on rear extension not a single row of bricks in a straight line absolute joke.
He got roof fix midland Ltd to do the dormer roof cladding they did not even screw the cladding down and did not even put corner strips on the exterior. The whole cladding came away from the wall on the 2nd floor during high winds. 2m by 3m swung around 90°. A piece of cladding flew off and just missed my neighbours kids. Cladding is loose all over the dormer.
Did not put in guttering and has caused water damage to my neighbours property
Caused damage to both of my neighbour’s properties.
Left my back garden as a dump site.
Excuses made by him were price of materials went up by 50% which was a load of bollocks. Because if it was the other way around he would not have given me back 50%.
While he was eating Christmas dinner with his friends and family myself and my family have been living in the cold for the last 6 months It has affected my childrens health and life.
My youngest son has got ASTHMA because of the cold conditions we are living in.
I would not trust him at all considering he uses workers who cannot speak English and do not even know what they are doing.
Along with all the other works still required.
AFJ. I would not trust him. He did the same at to the previous job he did before he started mine.

WORST builder ever laying and dishonest. Got him to do a 7 beds HMO conversion, didn't complete the jobs, have continues water leaks problem in bathroom, leak in the new roof of the extension, boiler issues, electrical faults, door can't close properly and burst pipe after 3 months. He is what I call a COWBOY builder, used not professional people to do the job! DO NOT USE HIM Alexander Jefferson or AJ Special Project for any job. He doesn't know what he is doing More...

Absolutely excellent builders and more than accommodating. I changed the specs a few times and they were happy to help and very transparent with any cost changings. The standard of the work was excellent and the team worked in a clean and professional manner at all times, they had to work around my five children and two dogs a lot of the time!! The team were always polite, clean and tidy and a pleasure to have in my home. I was kept up to date on the works and everything was clearly explained and discussed with me. They certainly have a lot of experience and guided us on changes and planning from design to local authority certificate completion. I cannot recommend this company highly enough, it's a very refreshing change to be able to discuss honestly with the contractor, be given advice and clear costs and then supported on our decisions even if they mean 'undoing' some completed aspects. You can hire this company with confidence and I cannot express enough gratitude to Mr Jefferson for his contribution to making our home as beautiful as it now is. A happy wife means a happy life! 100% RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY, CAN'T FAULT THEM IN ANY WAY. HAD A DOUBLE SIDE EXTENSION WITH A BRAND NEW KITCHEN INSTALLED BY THEM. THE CRAFTMANSHIP WAS BRILLIANTLY DONE. This builder has been messy, has broken his contract, started December 21, not finished, standard of workmanship is appalling, he uses cheap unskilled labour and has left our gardens trashed. Our extention has unfinished electrical work and unfinished plumbing. We had to use our own money and supply goods for the kitchen to be finished. He has now gone bust.... Totally and utterly incorrect. The supply of the kitchen was in the agreement at a certain cost..you went over budget. The garden you was always intended to be re-done by yourself, and you stated that it could be used for storage. The works took longer as you were made aware as it progressed. The consistent uplift in the materials was not passed on to you, although you new that the prices kept on rising. your extension has been fully built and passed by the local authority building control at every stage and completion stage. There are a few outstanding very small items in which to address, of which the engineer has been in touch with you. The business has not gone bust. You have not had to pay anything out of your own money, but out of the priced works. Your kitchen was designed 3 times, and it still had to change due to you could not make up your mind. You have not had to pay any extra monies as to what was the agreement and to say so is untrue and unfair. There is still payments outstanding on the agreement of which we gave you an interest free loan period for 12 months because you could not arrange a loan. You are now posting a statement, of which is not correct , not accurate, and unworthy. We have bent over backwards in which to please you.
