Services

At AMS we offer clients a commitment to quality based on experience and expertise. We are an approved D1 installer of Daikin air conditioning equipment, with this we offer 7-year parts warranty.
We believe by operating as a team from our air conditioning technicians to our design and technical support staff all the way through to our sales and management we can achieve a seamless hassle-free first-class installation every time. Our achieving the ISO9001 quality assurance standard backs this up.

We can supply and install the latest generation energy efficient air conditioning and ventilation equipment from all major manufacturers, Midea, Mitsubishi, Samsung, Vent axia, capable of both heating and cooling for all types of client, from large electronics companies and medical establishments all the way down to small residential units.

From your initial contact we will despatch a design technician at your convenience to ascertain exactly what your present and if possible, your future requirements.
They will then discuss all the possible options, types of equipment and it’s positioning, this will enable us to supply the best possible solution to our clients needs.

They will then carry out a detailed survey of the premises taking note of sources of heat gain: -

 Machinery
 Electrical equipment
 Lighting
 Occupation
 Air movement
 Building volume
 Building construction
 Glazed areas
 Insulation
 Solar gain
 Building aspect

Then using the latest design software, we will process this information to enable us to correctly size the required equipment. This is critical because although undersized equipment would undoubtedly cost less it would also not be capable of controlling the temperature of the conditioned area at times of peak load. In the case of oversized equipment, a large percentage of the capital expenditure could have been wasted.

Our sales staff would then send the client a detailed quotation with sizing information and equipment brochures. On acceptance and on receipt of a written order we will liase with the client to agree an installation start date and timetable. We have also experience of installations in listed buildings in which we endeavour to conceal as far as possible the interconnecting pipe work and cabling and reduce as far as possible any impact on internal architectural features.

Our installation team strive to cause minimal disruption to the client by adopting flexible scheduling with safe and clean working practices.
Site safety is one of our main objectives; to achieve this technician’s undergo full health and safety training and are fully equipped.

At AMS you can call out our technicians to attend your premises to repair faults or breakdowns or to diagnose and report on ongoing problems.
We operate a fixed callout charge; this includes our technicians first half hour on site.

In our experience a surprising percentage of problems can be diagnosed in this period.

All materials used will be charged, however if after our initial survey extensive repair works or expensive components are required, we will provide you with a written quotation, and only proceed with the repairs after we receive your order.

Whether it’s a large VRV system in an office block or a small split system installed in a conservatory, AMS can offer comprehensive planned maintenance contracts regardless of whether your equipment was installed by us or not.

Our planned maintenance contracts are prepayment agreements that cover a twelve-month period. They entitle the client to between two and four maintenance visits per year.
(Most manufacturers recommend a minimum of two visits per year). The number of visits generally depends on the environment in which the equipment is working or the specific agreement.

Our technicians carry out extensive, thorough maintenance procedures as recommended by all manufacturers as listed in our service documentation.
These servicing procedures not only monitor the efficiency of all your systems components, but they also have a positive environmental contribution of detecting refrigerant leaks early, thereby limiting the amount of refrigerant released into the atmosphere.

Clients will be given notice of these visits to help to cause the minimum of inconvenience or disruption.

The benefits of planned preventative maintenance: -

 Increased equipment life and reliability.
 Increased energy efficiency.
 Extended warranties on Daikin equipment.
 Preferential rates (less than non maintained clients).
 Helping to fulfil your health and safety duty of care to your staff and customers
 To adhere to environmental legislation, annual leak tests are required in accordance to regulation EC2037/2000.
 Peace of mind.
