Aikido in Stevenage - Wanomichi Takemusu Aiki

Very good club to train traditional Aikido, Iwama style. Combine Yoga warm up, weapons and empty hand techniques. Best of all, the club follow the best Sensei Daniel Toutain in this generation in my opinion, a direct student of Morihiro Saito. It has been really fun!

Learning aikido as a beginner has been an enjoyable experience. It has improved my flexibility and agility, especially with doing yoga before training on mats.

Excellent club, informative, patient training and high standard of teaching.

After many years of absence from martial arts I decided it was time to get back in the mat. Thankfully I found Wanomichi Aikido, the club has a friendly atmosphere, talented students and a great Sensei. I've trained in varied Aikido styles but never Iwama and I must say I find this style much more rewarding, direct and useful for developing all the skills you would wish to attain from a martial art.
