Agnes Wares is a slow fashion brand based in Leeds and run solely by me, Rei. I juggle many different roles to bring fun and quirky designs to life. Creating colourful, embroidered clothing is my jam. My designs are influenced by tattoo and pop culture.

What do you love most about your job?
I love creating, whether that be drawing up designs, embroidering clothes or patches. The creative process is super fun and it's the best when a customer is really happy with the final outcome.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I knew that I wanted to be creating everyday as I'm at my happiest when being creative. I have always loved drawing and fell into embroidery. Putting the two together just seemed to make sense and here we are. I have a business!

I love what I do and I'm such a nerd for all things embroidery. I offer a professional and approachable service and I really care that my customers are satisfied with the final outcome.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
As a one woman operation, I do not come into contact with other workers whilst at my studio space. I frequently sanitise all working areas.
