Agincare (Nottingham) gives excellent, properly caring service. We temporarily had another company tending to my father-in-law. Such a relief to have Agincare back. The difference is amazing! They actually do seem to care and take time to find out what my father-in-law actually needs, instead of what's the easiest for them. Couldn’t of asked for better care from fantastic carers, especially SAM NEWTON . Sam always used to go over & beyond her call of duty as carer for my dad . Walking into our family home hearing dad chuckle ( we knew immediately Sam was in looking after dad )Singing favourite pop songs , making him chuckle and looking after him like one of her own . I have found Agincare very helpful and reassuring when enquiring about employing a live in carer. The introduction of a carer for my mother through an emailed profile was concerning as it did not include any references but we still went ahead. The carer they matched with mummy is perfect for her and is very attentive and encouraging.My concern is over the administration as we did not get a contract to read before the carer was in place and an arrangement for the area manager to visit was not kept yesterday. As a new member of staff in a care setting it can be very daunting to start,My nerves lessened within hours of being part of the nottingham branch. I was made to feel welcome and part of the team from the get go. The care for the clients is at the heart of every member of the team at the nottingham branch and from what iv witnessed this includes the top managers including area managers and the chief operating officer. I have been bed bound for the past 12 weeks due to a broken pelvis and collarbone. I have had Agincare come to support me as my husband works 24 hrs on and 24 hrs off. I have received some brilliant care and support from all the team and what ever I needed they were happy to help.I own 2 dogs who have also had a fuss made of them which has meant we all look forward to our visits.I couldn't have lived a normal life without the team at Agincare so I would be very happy to recommend using them.
