We had booked a trio band for an event as we wanted it to be relaxing. The band turned up and set up professionally and quietly without any issues. I was tasked with sourcing the band for our wedding... pressure was on as the quality of the band can really make or break the evening do ! We gave the guys a pretty tricky first song request to play in a funky style, they took on the challenge with both hands and absolutely nailed it! Then went onto play a great mixture of old and new songs in their own funky style, we had guests from all over the world and the dance floor was packed with smiling faces the entire night! They took the time to learn our first dance song (and nailed it), which was a really special and personal touch. Absolutely fantastic! Agent Funk MADE our wedding. Their sound is brilliant, they setlist is awesome and they're a really lovely group of people. They were really accommodating - we were running really late, so they had to set up and start playing fast - and they stayed really late to let us use their PA system after they'd finished, which was incredibly kind. Wow wow wow! Agent Funk delivered a fantastic performance at our wedding at Wick Bottom Barn (Wiltshire) and we, as well as all of our guests, enjoyed every moment, song and set.
We would highly recommend Gavin and his team to any couple or group planning a big event and want an impressive band to fill the dance floor! They won’t let you down!
My partner and I were after a big funky band, complete with trumpets etc, and we didn’t just want some generic band playing the cheesy hits you hear at most weddings. Reading on their website that they played a mixture of funk and soul, and comprised of seven musicians, we thought they would be a great fit to get our wedding party going.
Throughout the whole process Gavin and his team were so professional and yet personable in all of their communications, giving us full confidence in what they would deliver. They were so competitively priced and they honestly went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly for us.
Not only were we able to pick our first song, (they absolutely nailed ‘Best of My Love’ by The Emotions by the way!), they offered DJ services and stayed late beyond their normal finishing time. They also arrived a day in advance to set up AV in the barn which was fantastic, meaning we could use the PA system for speeches etc in the afternoon.
The whole evening the dance floor was packed and every one of our guests had a smile glued onto their face dancing the night away to Agent Funk. It was everything we had envisaged for the evening and we were truly blown away by their musical talent and showmanship.
Trying to relive the wedding we’ve put a playlist together of all the songs featured on Agent Funk’s set list and every time we listen to it we’re reminded of the best evening of our lives. So thanks, guys! Can’t wait to book you again soon!

A big, big funky thank you to the fabulous Agent Funk who played at our wedding on Saturday 5th May 2018 at the Avon Gorge.
Friendly, professional - always came back promptly -and patiently - with answers to our questions before the big day which meant that we could hear our play list in between sets and we were even allowed to change a few songs too! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed getting down and the Agent Funk boys did us proud! Ditch the DJ - and get funky!!
