Fantastic survey noting items of concern and fully detailed Bill prepared for us to provide a comprehensive quotation.

There a many things I love about my job. I absolutely love the variety of different construction project I have the opportunity of being involved in. These Projects range from New-Build to Refurbishment. No two projects are the same and the variety of tasks vary from one project to another.

Having worked in the industry for almost twenty years and having progressed to becoming the Chief Surveyor of a main contractor the next career development was for me to open my own practice. This allowed me to divulge my years of experience on topics I enjoy most.

I have twenty years of construction experience and am accredited by the construction industries most prestigious governing bodies [RICS and CIOB]. My practice has existed for the last five years and my clients retain me for my services over long periods. I provide honest and impartial advice to all my clients.

Depending upon the service required, my service can be provided on-line.

I adhere to latest government guidance to ensure my clients are kept safe from Covid-19.

Services

Acute are regularly appointed by Solicitors as Single or Joint Expert Witness for Defect Claims / Litigation relating to breaches of Tenancy Agreement's (either express or implied) under:
~ Breaches of Section 11 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985,
~ Breaches of the s4 Defective Premises Act 1972,
~ Breaches of the Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018),
~ Breaches of s9A – 10 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985).

Our Reports our compliant with Part 35 of the Civil Procedure Rules and we have completed the Legal Experience Training Advanced
Professional Award in Expert Witness
Evidence.

Disputes are common within the Construction industry, we at Acute Services are skilled at reviewing and resolving disputes.
From our experience of over 300 successfully concluded disputes, we have learnt that disputes often occur out of miscommunication and confusion, therefore, from the outset, we clarify all parties’ positions and legal obligations. This often allows us to resolve a dispute amicably without third parties, preserving and strengthening the existing relationships of our clients.
If, however, a dispute cannot be solved amicably, we are fully trained and able to represent you in adjudication and help you to get what is rightfully yours.

Acute Services delivers projects by reviewing all contract literature to identify key milestones and then create a programme to deliver them. In order to keep a project running smoothly, we regularly communicate with all parties involved about the status of the project, which means when a problem crops up, it is quickly and effectively resolved by all parties working together. In addition, we regularly review projects while they are ongoing to identify risks and opportunities for growth and improvement.
