Using alternative therapies such as acupuncture, cupping, Chinese herbs, Chinese Massage and moxibustion, the Chinese practitioner will work to unblock the body’s energy fields (energy called ‘Qi’ and channels or meridians). In a healthy person, the energy flows through the channels without any obstruction. In a ill person, however, the meridians tend to be blocked.
