Q&As

Being able to help people to live in their homes and to help provide an excellent care and support service to them.

Passionate about care and how it can help people live their way. I have my own family experience of care and want others to have the same level of care that my family want. Enabling this makes me work hard every day.

We are local, we have high standards and values. Our care delivery is excellent and we support both customers, their families and friends and our amazing carers.

We can help support remotely but most care is delivered in the customer home. We are always happy to be at the end of a phone/email.

Services

Visiting/Hourly Care service provides a carer to visit and spend a minimum of one hour - very often for longer periods. During the time we provide care we can support with a wide range of requirements including meal preparation, personal care, medicine administration and assistance, accessing community facilities and other aspects of daily living.

Live-In Care is a great option for people who want to stay in their homes safely and to be supported in all aspects of daily life. Live-In carers will live in the customer's home, giving peace of mind to the customer and their families. Support will include meal preparation, laundry, tidying and managing or supporting customers for appointments and other outings.

Respite Care can help for short periods through providing temporary additional support. This valuable service enables family carers to take breaks and re-charge their batteries knowing their loved one is well-looked after and safe. Respite Care can be during the day for a number of hours, over night or for longer periods - days or weeks.

Waking Night Care is available for people who may have difficulty sleeping due to a medical condition or as a result of a period of change. Often this service can be helpful following hospitalisation or for those with Dementia and other cognitive impairments where day and night can become confused. If your loved one is prone to waking at night we can supply carers specialising in this service.

Complex care is generally for people who are living with chronic illness. If you or your loved one have more complex medical issues that require assistance with mobility, with medication administration and with many aspects of daily living. Our care and support can enable customers to live well at home and to have the help and support they need. Complex care can be from several hours per day to 24-hour care, and sometimes requires two carers to be on duty.

Companionship is a great way to start care and is very popular for people with Dementia and other conditions. Companionship provides well-earned respite for family and stimulation for the customer, through engagement, conversation, gentle activity.
