Paul at Able Mortgages made buying our first house far less terrifying than it would have been, and what struck us more than anything else was how hard he worked for us at every step of the way. His advice was thorough and detailed, and he seems to have reserves of patience for explaining some of the arcane details, and by the end of a call from Paul we always felt like we knew what was going on, and empowered to make the decisions that needed to be made. We're both first time buyers and we were nervous about the process, but from the first call with Paul, we knew we'd found the right guy. We're absolutely astounded at how much care and time Paul put into our mortgage application and insurance policies. To know that we had Paul looking out for us gave us a sense of calm in what is a crazy and unnerving process; it's the best money we ever spent. He made sure we got the best deal, we never had to chase him and he certainly knows his stuff. We could call him with any questions (even the stupid ones!) and he always explained things in ways that were easy to understand.
