At first I was nervous to let someone else do my make up for an event but Abi Rowell made me feel so at ease, I have been back multiple times and every time I have been so pleased!
Abi always listens to what sort of look I would like which makes me feel comfortable and confident to trust her with any look I want to go for. She considers my type of skin as it can be quite oily and chooses the right shades to make me look my best. What do you love most about your job?
I love meeting new people and helping them achieve their perfect look on either their wedding day or special event. It’s a wonderful experience being part of the most important day of their lives. The best part is hearing the positive feedback and knowing that I have helped them feel and look their absolute best with makeup that’s photo perfect and lasts all day and night!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a huge passion for makeup and during my training at Northbrook College I realised my speciality was bridal and ‘red carpet’ makeup. I was lucky enough to have plenty of girlfriends trust me to do their makeup for party’s, nights out, weddings and birthdays. Recommendations quickly spread and before I knew it I had brides-to-be contacting me and booking me for their wedding day!

I truly believe that hair and makeup are worlds apart, and when booking me, my clients are choosing a makeup artist only who undoubtedly knows and loves her craft. I will spend the time I truly believe is needed to allow the products I’m working with to set and become part of the skin, layering them effectively to ensure longevity and perfection is achieved without compromise.
