What makes a great website?
A great website is a site that has been truly considered from the customers' point of view.
We start by understanding what you do, and who your customers are. Only then can we make informed design decisions that are targeted directly to your customer.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
We'd start by talking to you to find out your aspirations for your company.
We'd ask for any existing analytic or customer data (if it's a digital job) so we can start to understand you and your customers. This will help us to communicate the ideas and information to your customers in a clear and simple way.
Describe your creative process.
This will vary depending upon the type of job, but it usually looks something like this:
Researching your business and similar businesses.
Analysing and customer data or digital analytics.
Design digital wireframes or concepts followed by any amendments (for websites).
Design stage followed by any amendments.
Development (for websites).
Delivery.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
We usually ask for a comprehensive brief but we also understand that many companies have never and will possibly never write a briefing document so we're happy to come and visit to get an initial idea of the job.
What do you love most about your job?
We're problem solvers. If there's a problem that we can solve through design and development that will help your business, then we'll find it. Granted, we also love great design too.
What inspired you to start your own business?
We just love meeting new people and working on exciting new projects. After working in-house for some well-known brands ('Virgin' being one) we felt that it was a great time to spread our wings.
