Simply put, they lied to the owners on many occasions. They started out well and then, incrementally they started to add extra charges. The "Portal Charge" was the break point. Most of us said "no" and they dumped us with only 30 days notice. Do not enlist their services. More...

A truly dreadful factor. There has been an incredible lack of transparency and basic communication the moment anything beyond the most routine of repairs is involved. Appointed them on the proviso that they'd beat it if asked by a majority. Assured us that they would and now, when we've had enough of their crap (see David below) they won't agree to go despite receiving the note signed by the majority to just go away!

Refusing to make claim on insurance policy?? Charging £400 to change a lock!!! Charging FIVE HUNDRED to clean gutters at a tenement!!!

Very, very expensive and some sharp practices - including billing for services they know have not been provided (such as stairwell cleaning) and not being forthcoming about it, only acknowledging when challenged. Fantastic! If you're tired of dealing with large faceless factoring companies that take forever to respond to you then these guys are the solution. They're a fairly small company and offer a personal touch. I'm so glad we switched to them, they're very efficient and you can actually speak to an individual and follow an issue through with them, rather than explaining it over and over again to another unknown person. Their online portal is also very good - no more slow letters and inconvenient meetings. And when you phone them you don't need to wait on hold forever - another big improvement over our last factor. Honest and fair. Two simple words you want when describing a factor. We moved from one of the large factors (H&P). This company is a breath of fresh air. After being tied to a Factor company from Glasgow who are well know for their bully boy attitude and shocking service charges (without the service) it has been a pleasure dealing with Doug and his team at 91BC property services. They have given great advice that allowed us to exit from our old factors and with ease. The amount of people who think you can't get away from poor factor companies is scary but you can and these guys can help you.Great service with a great web based billing service that keeps you up to speed with everything that is going on in your building community. 91BC have a personal approach and take pride in what they do and how they conduct their business. Appointed 91BC recently and I don't have a bad word to say about them! Their service has been fantastic, they always respond within the same day and even gave us guidance when trying to change our factor.
