43Legal is a law firm that offers risk based legal solutions to businesses. We work along side businesses, in order to help identify legal issues, in order to provide commercial and practical solutions based on our clients requirements, preferably before the issue manifests into something a lot more serious.

We are a firm believer in prevention rather than cure. However, we are also realists and often things do go wrong. Therefore we also offer dispute resolution and litigation services ranging from breach of contract claims, non-payment of invoices to disputes that arise from within the business. For example partnership disputes and shareholder/director disputes.

Often the manner in which legal services are provided to the private sector can be disjointed and fee driven based upon hourly rates. Where the client is required to identify the issues that need addressing in order to then go and seek the legal assistance required. However, unfortunately as the saying goes - 'you don't know what you don't know until you find out that you don't know it'. In our experience business owners are great at running their businesses, but may not always know what legal issues manifest within businesses until often it is too late.

As such 43Legal was created to offer a different approach in terms of how legal services are offered and administered so that businesses can obtain the legal advice they need for the issues applicable to their business, whether they are aware of those issues or not. We are passionate that all business no matter what the size, should have the opportunity to have access to legal advice to ensure stability and longevity not just the large corporates who can afford to hire their own in-house Counsel.

We not only listen to our clients and work with them to devise the best method in which to provide the legal services required but we also tailor the manner and method of charging to meet the clients needs as well.

In doing so, we offer fixed fee retainers where possible, including project specific fixed fees to ensure that the legal services that our clients need, can be obtained in a cost effective and wherever possible transparent way, without the faff! So that we can be on hand to provide legal advice whenever our clients need it, even if that means being able to pick up the phone and run something past us when the need arises - we are on hand to help.
