As a boy I was asked to help out in the garden of our Surrey home and the love for all things green stemmed from there. Simple answer to this is yes. Some of my clients are providing details of bespoke hardwood items for us to build and we can create these within our workshop and then deliver to the client for either them to install or for us to install, however, for landscaping, this is not so easy. In order for us to provide the best possible quotation, it is important for us to meet you to find out more about your preferences and or deign ideas and seeing the garden first hand gives a far greater insight as to the scale of any design and the issues we may need to overcome.
Obviously this is a very difficult time for companies and the general public too, and for the longest time we were on furlough as we just did not want to risk our staff's or our clients' health. However, the new year brings a better understanding of the risks and how to mitigate them. We all abide by the principles set out by government and where practicable will wear additional PPE (mask and gloves) to ensure any transmission from our teams are reduced to the maximum way practical. Not all situations would allow for a mask as heavy work generates heavy breathing and a mask can cause more damage, so by looking at a daily risk assessment, and providing our clients are equally aware of our working practices, we can work easily and effectively without disturbing our clients and by all of us extending the social distancing to three metres.
Washing facilities normally provided by our clients allowing access to their toilet and kitchens on occasion has also been adapted as we do not want to enter into a clients house unless absolutely necessary. For all new works now we have made the allowance of portaloos as a prerequisite so reducing the risks even further.
