Visiting Angels Middlesex and Oxford

We have been using Visiting Angels for the past two and a half years. Initially VA provided care and support for my mother, who was disabled by a broken hip, and for my father who suffers from Alzheimer's. Up until early 2024 they provided a few hours a week care, providing support and companionship at home and taking each of them out to local groups. Both my parents very much appreciated the care that was provided and the help with getting out and meeting other people.

Sadly, my mother passed away earlier this year, aged 88. This has meant that we have had to increase the care for my 92 year old father. VA now come 3 times a day to provide support and companionship, to make meals and to look after dad. My father likes all the carers, who are always dependable, friendly and helpful.

Visiting angels are a very responsive care provider, who put the wellbeing of their client at the heart of what they do. I contacted Visiting Angels for my aunt who is elderly and suffering with cancer.

I was delighted that they responded so quickly and came to see us the very next morning.

We had previously been with another well known care agency in Oxford, but they had not able to give us the hours we required or respond quickly when her needs increased.

Visiting Angels were immediately able to provide the hours we asked for. Within a couple of weeks we needed 24/7 care for her and they had that in place within 24 hours of requesting it.

When a carer starts a new shift for the first time, they do the first hour with a team member who shows them the routine. Comprehensive notes are kept so that I am able to know how my aunt is at all times.

I now know all the carers and they are very kind, compassionate and attentive to my aunt’s needs. Also, everything is so clean and orderly when I come over. She can have very challenging behaviour but they all handle her with patience and warmth. More...

I'd like to share the positive experience I had with Visiting Angels. I was urgently in need of someone to visit my ailing, bed-bound mum on a daily basis to keep her company and to keep an eye on her wellbeing while I had a desperately needed break from my caring duties. I was recommended Visiting Angels by a friend who was using their services. From the moment I spoke to them it was evident that they are committed to providing exceptional care. The carers, under the thoughtful leadership of Parag and Rita displayed a genuine passion for the well-being of my mum. They were exceptional. They really went above and beyond to help my mum and Parag and Rita also gave me highly needed support - not something I've experienced with other the care companies that I've dealt with.
They visited me at home and are genuinely the nicest people you could hope to meet and you can see that they are absolutely dedicated to providing a better that average care service.
This level of attentiveness has truly set them apart in my eyes.
The first care visit was arranged for the following day and was a huge relief for me to have some help/support at such short notice.

My mother is bed bound in a hospital bed at home. I live abroad and chose Visiting Angels to care for my mum. They have gone above and beyond the call of duty. Recently mum had diverticulitis and an infection which caused her to be in absolute agony. Parag, who is the owner of the care company was so concerned, that he came to mums house and promptly called an ambulance. He waited with her and then drove to the hospital behind the ambulance, just to make sure mum was looked after. During her 10 day stay in hospital, Parag visited several times and spoke to the doctors. He was then able to inform me of mums situation and condition, which was incredibly helpful for me. When mum was discharged from hospital, Parag and another carer were there at my mums home waiting for her to arrive and settle her in for the night. I am so impressed that another person/people can care for mums as well as I do when I can. I thought I would have to travel back to England but Visiting Angels showed me, that they were so caring and attentive towards my 94 yr old mum. I can visit in august now on her 95th birthday without any worries.
